This restaurant had excellent food, service and ambience. We were really pleased with our dinners and highly recommend. The shwarma was also the best. A great kosher restaurant in Tulum.

This place is not kosher. There is not a certification in place. There’s no management in place from what we can see as well. There’s no machgiach here to properly run the restaurant. The food is not up to par of what a true kosher place would offer. I talked to them and tried to advise them to not advertise this place as Kosher because it isn’t. There is a sign out front as well that says Kosher but again, this place is not Kosher. We keep Kosher and we can’t eat at a place like this. The waitress said there’s was new ownership as of September.

I don’t think the restaurant is kosher. I don’t eat kosher but people around me do. They said it’s “kosher” but there’s no certificate of kosher, therefore it’s not kosher. The beef meatballs was spoiled also. I sent it back. The bathroom sink was dirty. I don’t usually write bad reviews like this but…..I just wanted to write an honest review. So definitely a zero star for me.

Incredible food! Good portion sizes, we stayed in accommodation nearby and popped round the corner for dinner one night. The food was fresh, and the service was great. Highly recommend if you are looking for a lunch/ dinner and you’re in the central area of Tulum.

Yafe was such a lovely place. The staff was so friendly and eager to please. They made sure that we had food for Shabbat the next day and provided us with challah, candles, and kosher wine for later. To say we're were excited is an understatement. Having a place in Tulum, Mexico to get kosher food is such a gift. Please come support this warm and delicious restaurant so Tulum can welcome many others looking for what we were looking for...

One of my go-to spots to eat in Tulum! I love this kosher food in La Valeta. There’s also hookah si tu quieres. Try the pargiot in pita bread y the hamburguesa. ??

Great food and service. I recommend getting the hummus/falafel to start (comes with pita) and then the chicken shawarma on challah as the main course. Even came back a second time before the end of my trip!

Delicious food, the hallah is excellent and the hummus bassar as well; and they even made a cafe frappe for us on demand even if it was not on the menu that was delicious. Totally recommend it !
