Best seafood chowder I've had in NB so far! Great view of the water & wharf while you eat too! Staff were super nice as well.

I can't review the food as we didn't have a chance to try it or see the inside.
Last summer while we were visiting from away with our children, enjoying a beautiful walk around Alma we decided to stop for a quick moment to view the menu of this restaurant online on our phone to see if it would be suitable for us.
(I struggle to walk and read on my phone and we have disabilities that require us to take frequent breaks when exercising).
In the one minute time frame we stopped at one of their outdoor picnic tables, before we had a chance to decide - we were yelled at from across the lawn that we were not allowed to sit at their picnic tables (even though there was no one else around and absolutely no signage - we didn't even realize the picnic tables were with the restaurant because of the way we happened upon them during a walk around the wharf area) we were told we were on private property and to leave to which the lady was very aggressive about and instantly turned her back on us without the chance for us to explain we were only there for less than a moment thinking about possibly dining at their establishment.
So we left and have enjoyed dining at all other restaurants in the area, but unfortunately due to this experience we won't be able to comment on their food.

Warm, welcoming and comfortable restaurant on the harbor in Alma just outside Fundy National Park. The delicious fish chowder was overflowing with haddock, sea scallops, mussels and shrimp. The cup was the size of most place’s bowls. Probably, the best cup of chowder I ever had. The seafood pasta was outstanding as well. Our waitress was cheerful, attentive and helpful.

Seafood and service were amazing! Loved that we could sit by the window and look at the fishing boats :) Inside deco would need an update, but very clean. We would eat there everyday if we could! Lovely little town.

OMG. Best lobster roll yet in NB. Actual pieces of sweet beautiful lobster. So delicious. It was served with French fries crispy on the outside and perfectly soft in the interior. Yum. Husband had an extremely delicious and generous bowl of seafood chowder chock full of a variety of bounty from the sea. Even the coffee was perfect. Service was friendly and responsive. Definitely a stop in Alma. ??????

Lobster for lunch, fresh from Fundy Bay! And the crab cakes and seared scallops with blueberry salad that others ordered were exceptional as well. No shortage of oohs & aahs at the table as we enjoyed our seafood feasts.
The service was friendly and fast. Our waitress even took the time to show me how to get all the lobster meat out of its shell. Fun, delicious and a great time at Tides Restaurant in Alma New Brunswick. I'll be back again soon!

A beautiful place to stop situated at the foot of the national park of the Bay of Fundy and tucked right up close to the docks , offering breakfast through supper from seafood to fast food. All locally endorsed recipes from the area , including a traditional Molly Burger after the first female Canadian sea captain ?

Delicious Lunch, yesterday...
Had the " special "...
Panco crusted scallops, with a salad of cucumbers, peppers and some other ingredients, with a delightful, cilantro infused dressing .
Amazing!
Compliments to Chef Marc!
Then to top it off ,we shared dessert.
Delicious flourless chocolate cake, topped with strawberry coulis and artistically piped cream.
Out of this world!
Reasonably priced too!
