Way over priced. A regular burger w/ side ($21 alone on the menu) and an ice tea will cost you $35 (why did I tip?). The "bougie fries" I was told would be the included side (they are supposed to be fancy but were very regular), but they added $4.50 on top for them as a separate item - and there was nothing else but the burger... Being in a rush to get back on the trails, I just paid and got my gear on and ready to ride off with the crew. Pulled the receipt out of pocket a few days later and, WTF? I sent them a note about it, on principle, and they cared not. Isn't the end of the world, but I hate being ripped off. Should have been half that cost. Won't be back.

Food was great, patio was nice and the view of the harbour and the changing tides is a sight to be seen. However the minute we walked through the door the service was terrible. Nothing but rudeness. We blew it off and continued out to the patio with the other half of our group. After waiting a few minutes we were shocked to see the waitress who was very rude at the door happened to be our server, not a huge deal. Yet the entire meal her attitude and lack of customer service never changed from inside to the table. Some of the worst service we’ve had the entire stay we’ve been in Alma. If you decide to come for the good food and good views, make sure you get any other server then the one with short hair and glasses. That alone will make your dining experience absolutely awful..my wife and I would’ve left 5 stars otherwise.

Service was not good, waitresses seemed to just want to get you in and out. Most tables in patio had reserved signs on them but the entire hour we were there, no one came. Food was mediocre, had fish and chips, same type you can buy frozen. Nothing special and not worth the price. Would not return.

We had a fantastic meal with food for everyone's tastes. With two vegetarians in our group, we were worried we wouldn't find much where the focus wasn't seafood. The owner, Jeremy, waited on our table and was very personable and helpful. He is clearly passionate for the restaurant, and it comes through in the food. The veggie burger was incredible, as were the boujie fries and corn dip. The seafood-eaters both loved their meals (chowder and lobster roll). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. If the weather is nice, take advantage of the patio view!

I’ve been here several times but it only takes one bad experience to make me never want to go back. Why was everyone so rude here? Was it an off night? First we were so rushed, I went to the washroom after our long drive out and wasn’t even in my seat before the server was asking what I wanted to drink. 1 of our guests wasn’t even in the restaurant yet and we’re being asked if we’re ready to order. I was served half a glass of Diet Pepsi with no ice. Seriously, half a glass!! Wasn’t offered a refill and it cost $4. My burger was burnt to a crisp, completely black on the bottom. It was crunchy and dry, I had to douse it in ketchup. The fries were soooooo salty but I was so hungry, I ate it. 1 napkin was provided, I had to go wash my hands because everything was so greasy and salty and wasn’t offered any additional napkins. My phone stuck to the table every time I tried to pick it up, it was sticky. We were battling house flies the whole time we ate and a fruit fly at one point. Not to mention, someone dropped a clear bag of garbage off in the middle of the dining room, right beside our table while we were eating. My mom asked for soy sauce for her rice bowl. The server recommended some sort of oil and brought that to the table, again, half a little cup full. Flavourless, she really just wanted some soy sauce, no salt or pepper on the table for her to add to her meal. The server grabbed my plate as I was eating my last bite of food, I wiped my mouth with my grease and ketchup soaked napkin and placed it on my plate that was already in her hands. What’s with the rush? Can I finish swallowing my food please? I asked for a glass of water because of the amount of salt I just consumed, and she slammed it down on the table, I said thank you and she just walked away saying nothing. Brought the bill immediately and didn’t even ask us how we wanted it split, never asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert. We were scrambling to figure out who owed what because here she comes with the debit machine. We were told drinks would be served at the bar only from now on and had to get them ourselves. 2 hours after being there, after paying for our food, and now getting our own drinks, we’re watching the guy preform music and someone comes over to ask if we paid our cover charge. What? What cover charge? No one mentioned a cover charge. We were all confused. I went to the bar to pay $10 for every person at the table and asked for 2 beers. She said “I’m not the bar tender” and passed me the debit machine for the cover charge only. But then I see her serving drinks to other customers after me. So my brother got the drinks from the actual bartender. Lady… I do not know your position at this restaurant, but you’ve been standing behind the bar all night. On our way out the door at the end of the night we seen a hand written sign on the window that said “cover charge $10”. It was not there when we showed up for supper. Never in my life have I been asked to pay a cover charge 2 hours after being somewhere, when we’ve finished eating, paid our bill and now had to go get our own drinks. We were dumbfounded. I don’t know what our servers’s problem was, but she was clearly in a bad mood. The kitchen was obviously rushing so they could close down and kitchen staff could drink for the live show, we seen many staff sitting and drinking all night. And the cover charge lady, nothing but attitude. Not to mention 2 men at our table were drinking highballs, and they were $17 each. 2 of our friends left early because of the price gouging. The live music was great. Hats off to the performer. Can’t wait to see him again, elsewhere.

Popped in to ask if they had vegan options and they said they had three so we went in. The options are a burger, a bowl or a salad. My partner got the burger with a salad and I got the bowl because I thought it would be safer from cross contamination. We asked if the fries were cooked with meat and they said that everything is fried together. The bowl came with chickpeas that looked like they were deepfried which was not the dream. And there were green beans which looked roasted but tasted fishy... There was also a lot of salad dressing, it was kinda soupy? Not a good time. My partner enjoyed the burger and salad though.

We loved everything about Tipsy Tails! It has such a great vibe with very welcoming servers. We were quickly sat on the patio along the railing which overlooks the fishing harbour. With our own eyes we literally watched the water levels drop. We enjoyed a local pint or two and took in the views. The boujee fries are amazing!! As was the lobster roll. We are already planning a trip out East again next Summer and Tipsy Tails will for sure be a spot we visit again while in Alma.
