to begin with, it was very unpleasant and the smallest conversation I had with Kerry who works here at the counter, I only said we want only cheesecake, is it okay if we sit in or we have to take it out, and I was very close to the counter, it felt like she was screaming at my face and she said "someone will take your order", I was embarrassed in front of everyone and at the table when I ordered only strawberry cheesecake and large chocolate milk, even the other staff member who took our order gave us very rude and mean face, is it because it's a very small order or is it racism? worst experience, never stopping by again.

Lovely meal, with big portions. Chocolate cake with boiled icing was delicious! Julia was a great server, she was very polite and friendly!

The food is ok, not bad at all. We had the cod fish. The fish itself and the sauce with the fried pieces of pork were quite good. Small in portion size for the price. The carrots were terrible, frozen carrots that were thawed out. Commercial packaged sauce was served. We didn’t bother.
The place itself was clean and modern. A lot of people including executives were lunching there.
Service over all was slow, taking more than 20 minutes despite the restaurant being more than half empty. We went for lunch at an odd hour, mid afternoon. The servers were not on the ball. At the end, after asking for the bill from 2 different servers and waiting quite a long time, we decided to go up to the cash and point out which table we were seated in.
Big Stop Irving was expected. Full compliment of food and drinks for a weary traveler. There is also an attached restaurant with washrooms. It should be noted that this is generally a very spot, although foot traffic moves through reasonably quick.

World famous, very well run truck stop restaurant and convenience store. Restaurant is mostly greasy spoon type dishes but the chefs salad was a healthy treat. Overall the stop is very clean, very friendly, very efficient. Popular with the locals too!

As a Commercial Driver. I stop at a lot of stops like this one. Some good, some bad. This one, is 9/10. Showers were way better then I could have guessed. Parking is Plentiful. Property is well maintained ie; grass cut etc.. Staff in the main store were quick and efficient with a smile.
The restaurant. I had the pork chop dinner. I would give it a 9/10. Had a bit of gristle on it. Tony was my server and was incredible, he made no mistakes and was quick with my food. I highly recommend stopping here on your way through.
