I visit Microbrasserie all over and I have to say that none can beat 13 Barrels for location - it has an absolutely spectacular view of Bathurst harbour where you can watch the ducks, gulls, terns, geese, and yes, even bald eagles. They also have top-notch beers - the Tall Tales IPA was just right for me, some interesting pub snacks and they regularly have live music, trivia nights and even spin classes. Their terrace looks over the harbour too, however it was snowing outside so we opted for the sofa inside next to the fireplace.
Bathurst is fortunate to have this place.

This is a photo of sadness. 13 barrels was a very memorable stop on a trip in 2023. We just cracked our glass and have to go 2200 miles to get another. Worth it.

I had this place sought out on a road trip around the east coast. Lunch and a proper east coast brew on the water was exactly what we needed. Dog friendly patio . Bonus. Amazing and kind staff. We got to hang with Avery. She was super nice and took can of the rush we brought in easly. 10 out of 10. We each had a cheeseburger and a few beers as we backed and stared out into the water. If I'm in Batherst again. I'm here.
