Took my kids to Big D while in Bathurst for a tournament. Kids got milkshakes and poutines, and I got the grilled chicken burger and a sundae. Food is good and prices are reasonable. The young lady who took our order was very helpful and the food arrived fast. It’s nice to see an old-fashioned drive-in still in operation, even if the exterior is in need of a bit of a refresh. Definitely recommend.
Interesting drive-in style restaurant, our waitress did the best she could while they were short staffed and overly hot outside.
Parking: Limited drive-in spots, but due to people leaving as soon as they get their food, there's always going to have a spot open up

The Big D is a local icon. Our parents brought us there and i brought my kid. They will probably bring their kids. The food is alway good, served fast and fresh. The taste is constant and good. This place is a no brainer when your hungry but don't know where to go, The Big D is the answer.
