We ordered a combination plate for my husband and I . Not much flavor. We ordered a speciality dish to take home. Opened it the next day and we're very disappointed. Just bland. We get the same one in Campbelltown and it is delicious. It looked like the noodles were cooked and the veggies and meat, with can mushrooms were sauteed in nothing and put on top of the noodles. It was not worth $35.00. I know now why people go for the buffet, eat all you want and only what you eat. Our bill was $82.00.....dont paying when it is good.

This was such a happy little find on our trip. We walked in with no reservation, an hour before close and just as they were shutting down the buffet. We were seated immediately. They had a full offering in their beautifully constructed menu, including including szechuan, curry, Canadian as well as what would be expected. It took us longer to decide what to order than to be served. The portions were generous, the prices were great and the food was so hot I had to blow on it. I often judge these types of restaurants by a couple of key items, one being chicken balls (are they doughy, is there much chicken in it), the garlic ribs (how fatty are they compared to how much meat there is), etc. This place has great chicken balls, and delicious ribs. That tells me they care about the quality of what they're serving over simply profit. I took a scoot through the buffet before it was taken apart and it had a ton of options, including some that were new to me (beef macaroni was one I remember). My adventurous partner loved this place so much last night, that instead of trying a new restaurant tonight, he's insisting we eat there again. Hahaha. That says a lot. His favorite part was, of course, the food, and trust it was really good, the speed and friendly service. I loved all of that too but my favorite part was the personality of the staff. They were so much fun. Being immigrants, and opening a restaurant in a town where you need to not only know English but also this French dialect must have been a great undertaking. They smile and play and seem to really love their work, and seem to love engaging with the public. THAT won me over. They were professional, attentive and responsive, asking if we wanted to order 3 times without being pushy simply because we made eye contact. I'm a water guzzler in restaurants and my glass was never less than 1/2 full here. Other restaurants could take a few lessons from this place on the art of service. What a great spot. This will be a stop any time we're in Bathurst. We felt like we'd made new friends by the time we left.

I went there and made a 90.00 order and got home and me and my husbands starting eating it. The chicken fried rice was sour and made us sick. I called house of lee and girl who answer told me it wasn’t possible and treated us like a liver. I have been going to house of lee for years. Then I was so upset I drove down there and told her to smell it. They told me they just smell soya sauce . I told them to taste it and they wouldn’t. Won’t go there again. It’s the customer who keep them open and this is how you get treated. Hopefully we won’t end up at hospital. My kids all got sick.

There chicken fried rice tatse good with garlic spareribs and some booboo balls.there crew is so nice and service are good.we never experience dining in coz we always take out our food as we live far away from the place but they have nice atmosphere if you want to dine in.we love there food so everytime we go to bathurst we always buy food there before we go home.

I can't say much about the service or the atmosphere as we took out ,but the food was tasteless ,way over priced and for 20 bucks a dish SINGAPORE NOODLES and MIXED VEGETABLE and rice came to 60 dollars for 2 people to eat they served us canned mushrooms SHAMEFUL AND LAZY. We will not be back. RESPONDING TO ANSWER FROM OWNER. I beg to differ the Singapore noodle had not a vegetable in site we don't eat meat so the lease you could have done for 20 bucks was through in some vegetables. The noodles tasted like they were washed off no spice whatsoever I am insulted that I paid 20 for rice noodles and a splash of colour I make better in my own kitchen. I don't care who your chef is and how long he apparently been making it. It was lazy and I feel robbed of my money . I stand by my original post tasteless and shameful don't call him a chef because a CHEF would not use canned mushrooms or serve that to someone for 20 bucks !

Decided to go to the restaurant and give the buffet a try. We were extremely pleased with the food and service. Lovely view of the water as well. The food is very good at this restaurant.
