Wow, we were lost for spots for lunch today in Bathurst....last stop "Lucia's". Well a great pick I must stay. Heaps of choices, combinations of dishes if you like. Prices are very reasonable. Place is very clean and the owner and her husband were so friendly. We have filipino in-laws and this made us feel right at home.

One of the best places for food in Bathurst for sure. Everything I had was tasty and since the owner/chef/all around wonderful person serving me was so gracious after hearing how far I'd come to try her food (Ottawa) and gave me a sample of all the entrees, I literally got to taste pretty much everything. I couldn't even tell you what my favourite was since it was all excellent. Maybe the sweet chili porc... no, the curry...no, the Filipino style beefsteak! Go for yourself and decide.

Delicious!! it was our first time there and didn't know what to order so Lucia was nice enough to let us taste one of each item that was on menu. That is great customer service. Will definitely return. Spicy pork and Chicken Curry were our favorites

The original plan was to eat Chinese food. But that restaurant was closed. So we tried Lucia's. Best decision ever. Her food is delicious!! We also had a great chat. It was like sitting at home and having a home cooked meal. It was our first time, and hopefully not our last, enjoying her meals. Thank you for letting us try your spring roll. It was all delicious!! ?

Amazing food and service. Highly recommend trying everything, shrimp, noodles, samosas, spring rolls, curry chicken, beef stew, etc. Owner is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure she serves the best food available. Supporting local makes the food taste even better.

Let's start with the negatives: The building is extremely spartiate and the decor is limited to a few ornamental plants.With that being said, the staff is extremely welcoming and makes you feel like you're invited to a friend's table.The menu is small but everything on it has been made with care and from scratch. Crunchy batter and colorful veggies tell me that some genuine care went into the ingredients and preparation.The pork was tender with just enough fat. The chicken was cooked just right and wasn't overwhelmed by the sauce.The shrimps were tasty.The glass noodles were generous and had just enough veggies.Honestly a quaint little gem on the north shore. Don't let the aesthetics fool you: This is one of the best kitchens within a hundred miles. 4.75 stars.Dietary restrictions: Staff was very weary of allergies and dietary restrictions, even if our party did not have any.
