We had a very enjoyable dinner here on our visit to Bathurst. The food was delicious - carrot and parsnip soup and mushroom stuffed ravioli with truffles. Both were perfect. Our server, Craig, gets top marks for professionalism. And the ambiance in the upstairs dining area was just right. I also like their local selection of craft beers - there are 2 microbreweries in Bathurst, both putting out great products.

I took my mom here for her birthday, She and my partner got the seafood cannelloni, and I got the salmon pesto pasta. The food was well cooked and delicious. My mom has a walker, so we weren't able to go to the rooftop terrace, they allowed us to sit on the lower floor patio. My mom was too cold out there, so they graciously moved us inside.
After dinner they brought my mom a lovely lemon meringue for her birthday, which all of us enjoyed.
They were very friendly and extremely accommodating of us and my mom's physical needs. In a town that has 12 pizza places, nectar was refreshingly wonderful.

The staff are wonderful. The view of the water is beautiful. And everything we've had here has been delicious. (I recommend the nacho potato skins.)

Great restaurant right by the water! Loved it
The food was excellent. The fish in chips were amazing as was the spanikopita. The only thing I would say is they should tell you if you order extra tsaziki that it costs $2.50. We ordered 4 spanakopitas to go and asked for 4 extra tsazikis, so it adds up. C’est pas la mer à boire, mais on devrait aviser le client.

Nice quiet atmosphere, great staff and service, and very nice food. They take custom instructions and got my bacon and toast perfect! Coffee is a bit strong though but very good! 😁

This past weekend I experienced an amazing evening. But before. Let me qualify something. I’ve had the opportunity to dine in many highly quoted venues especially in Canada, the US. My accompanying friend was also very pleased. The quality, the preparation and presentation of our meal was second to none. The location on a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the water and a server who knew how everything works. I couldn’t believe that we have this secret place that is unique for Bathurst (NB). You owe this to yourself o spend an evening at the aNectar. It will become your favourite special place. THANK You NECTAR! Please keep up the good work you do.
Excellent food.

The restaurant has a great location on the waterfront, but the outside seating area was not really inviting. Due to the nice weather we chose to sit outside regardless.
The waitress was friendly and approached us promptly. She brought the menus and provided the specials. They offered a lobster roll including fries for $29. We asked to get it without fries, because we didn’t want to eat too much for lunch. They gave us a discount of $5. The food came quickly, but the lobster roll for $24 was a small bun with a minimal amount of lobster! I had seen pictures of their lobster roll on the website, but this was barely half of that! What a disappointment and we definitely didn’t overeat! The taste was good, but so not worth the money. . Unfortunately, we were so shocked about the size that I forgot to take a picture.
We have eaten lobster rolls at many different places, but this did not hold up to the standard.

Ordered mussels in the bowl there were 8 closed .not even open a bit what international cuisine restaurant serves closed mussels plus so many in one bowl Bacon wrapped scallops were dry Bacon was cooked way to much terrible presentation and sweet potato are frozen cheap fries I think macain sells better in the bag
I am fairly disappointed with the food and service we received today. We arrived and were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered spanokopita to start, a chicken Cesar wrap and a greek chicken burger for the main course. We waited over 30 minutes for our food with no sign of our server. Everything was brought out at once, which is not what we requested. The spanokopia was dried out and difficult to eat because the Phyllo pastry was hard as a brick. The tortilla on the chicken wrap was also dried out and falling apart like a hard cracker. I ordered extra sauce for the greek burger and was brought out salad dressing instead. The food was subpar and the service was just as bad. The gentleman that served us was nowhere to be found at any time during the meal. Our water glasses were dirty, we had to get up serval times to try and find him during our meal because he did not once quality check us or see if we needed anything else. At the end of the meal, we sat at the table for a considerable amount of time and decided to go to the cash to see if anyone else would help us.
Several staff members walked by and we were still unacknowledged. We ordered a poutine to go and the fries were dried out, there was no gravy and just overall a waste a money because we threw it in the trash. I remember going to this restaurant years ago and it was always my favorite. I was very excited to finally be able to return again but it was just a disappointment.
