Pros: -Not greasy at all. -good coleslaw -decent house-made tartar sauce -Great spot. Lots of picnic tables under individual shelters with a nice distance between them. Park-like setting. -Separate building containing bathrooms. Thumbs up for cleanliness. -Friendly service.
Cons: -A little on the bland side. -NOT fresh cut fries. Fries had zero flavour.
One of us got fish n' chips. Two large pieces of fish and a lot of fries. Fries had no taste, were frozen fries. Fish was okay, but not a whole lot going on. Only a light batter and not a lot of flavour.
The other got shrimp and chips and an order of the battered mushrooms. They enjoyed the lack of greasiness, said the battered shrimp was pretty good. Liked the battered mushrooms.
-Pricing: $61 for an order of fish n' chips, an order of shrimp and chips, some battered mushrooms and two cans of pop.

This is an odd spot. Cash only but an ATM on site? No receipt offerred. Likely a tax game…but I paid tax. Should have taken this as a clue but I persevered and tried the clams. I was disappointed considering this part of Canada is known for its clams. Fries were average. The cole slaw and local tartar sauce were nice. Sign on the road says best seafood in North America. Not on this day. For the price drive to Saint John or Fredericton and enjoy a nice meal at Deluxe French Fries where you can sit in and dine

Been to Ossies twice this week. Always been a favorite of mine. First time had an order of clams which were excellent as usual. Went there two days later with family and food was not good. Fish was so bad fishy tasting that none of us could eat it.Fries were seriously dry ,tasteless and overcooked. Clams were ok but much bigger than they normally serve there. Don't know if it was the cook that day or maybe old grease but I have thoroughly enjoyed Ossies for years until today.Hopefully is was just a bad day for whatever reason and won't happen again
