This is my first time ever writing a review. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. We made reservations at 5pm for our family for Father’s Day. Two hours later is when we finally got our food 7pm, and that was after members of our family left due to the wait. After speaking to the waitress who apologized for the wait because they didn’t realize their “take out’s” would be so busy today… so screw our reservations and for eating in I guess 🤷♀️. Our family drove 40 minutes and made reservations for this sole purpose of not running into these issues. We had 4 little ones (age 5,3,3 and 1) who were starving and exhausted we had to ask for a piece of bread for them after they ate all the snacks we had. Again why we made reservations as we had a 40 minute drive home so wanted to eat early. Our waitress (and I realize it’s not her individual fault, said sorry again and offer us a piece of pie as compensation after she spoke to the manager about our wait- can you imagine, what is a piece of pie going to solve at this point?.). So anyways two hours later we FINALLY got our food and half of it was cold - and one meal was not even the correct meal….. $240 later I’m sure glad to choose to be smart and make reservations days in advance, drive 40 minutes to go to Fred’s to treat my husband and dad for Father’s Day to wait 2 hours and get cold disappointing food.

This is a very fine restaurant, just moments off the main highway. Very easy to get to. Food is excellent, just like old fashion restaurant food we used to get! Service at it's best. Highly recommended.

Fred's seems to have gone downhill tremendously. Food was ok at best, served cold after a very long wait and the serving staff really were not engaged. It seems the moral has gone out the door along with the quality. We were over 1.5 hours to get our food after being seated. Will not be returning.

Maybe other food items are better but I got the house salad and it was horrendous (see pic). It was $8 and as you can see is the worst parts of some iceberg lettuce, couple pieces of cucumber and few tomatoes. Like is this even a salad? For $8?! I wish I could give negative stars

Seniors definitely love this hot spot but it's definitely not my cup of tea. I had a calzone. It was small, lacking toppings and (surprisingly) lukewarm even though it was burnt. It also was served 10 mins after the entire table had their meals and were half eaten. Unless your over 75+ I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone.
