My husband and I visited Blue Olive last night and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious and healthy. Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was just terrific and inspirational. I highly recommend Blue Olive and will be returning for our next date night.
I was very disappointed with my meal here. The food was cold, not fresh, and tasted old. The salad didn’t feel fresh and very salty , and the potatoes were not enjoyable either. Overall, it was not a good experience. Please think about it before you go there.(zero stars only)🤮🤮🤮🤮
Lovely, small restaurant with beautiful lamps. Excellent food, with options for Celiac diets and vegan diets. Salad ingredients very fresh. The falafel was some of the best that I have ever tasted.

Blue Olive is one of my go-to spots when I want to eat out and catch up with a friend. Their garlic sauce is the best I’ve ever had, and I also love their beet salad and tabouleh. I always order the chicken shawarma - it never disappoints.

Great experience. Habid explained the menu to us and answered our questions. Awesome staff, decor is spectacular and the food was tremendous. It was our first time at The Blue Olive and will be our go to restaurant whenever we are in Moncton from now on. Superb!!!!
Also purchased a bottle of Tunisian Extra Virgin Olive Oil which is the best oil money can buy.

Not good anymore. Food was undercooked. Ordered the big kabob platter (advertised as good for 6 people $125) was only good for 2 people. Slow service. Terrible food. Expensive. Low quality. Looks like a fancy atmosphere but not worth it. Was disappointed. Used to be good. Not anymore

A beautiful restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious.
We stopped at Blue Olive in Moncton for a dine-in dinner on our way back from Nova Scotia. While the ambiance was nice, the overall experience was disappointing. We were a group of five and ordered chicken shawarma and shish taouk platters. Unfortunately, all the dishes were served cold.
When we politely brought this to the staff’s attention, there was no courtesy or apology offered. Instead, the response we received was dismissive, asking whether we were sure we wanted to eat or not—very unprofessional.
We only had appetizers and drinks, and the bill still came to around $50 for mediocre food and poor service. This is not a place I would recommend for a family dinner or anyone expecting a quality dining experience.

They have a great Morocan couscous
I really wanted to enjoy my time at this restaurant, especially since it was my birthday and I had been looking forward to it. While the food was genuinely delicious, the customer service left a lot to be desired.
I had made a reservation a week in advance, but when I arrived, the server seemed confused and asked if my reservation wasn’t for later. After insisting that it was for the current time, he suddenly “remembered” the name under the reservation—but then told me I would only have the table for 1.5 hours because it was needed for another party. Since I’m not from Moncton and was waiting for friends, I reluctantly agreed. It was clear the table wasn’t even ready yet, and it felt like they had simply forgotten my reservation.
Once we sat down, we were rushed to order and eat. The server made a false claim to one of my friends—in French—that I had been informed about the time limit beforehand, when I booked (which I absolutely was not, otherwise, I would’ve booked an earlier time). He said this knowing I wouldn’t understand, and from that point on, he avoided eye contact with me and only addressed my friends in French.
The entire experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I had hoped for a nice evening with friends and good food, but instead I felt like a burden they were trying to rush out the door. It’s unfortunate, because the food truly is good—but due to the dishonesty and poor treatment, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to others.
