The server was not friendly. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and it was served to me with shrimp. No apology for the error, brought new dish out and it wasn’t edible. Like mush, a couple others in my party tried it and agreed not edible. I was never followed up with on my meal, and then brought a take out container and advised it wasn’t good and I wouldn’t be taking it home. Then I was brought a bill and I asked “you’re going to charge me for that” they offered no apology, and offered 50% off. I asked to speak with a manager and he claimed to be the manager. Wouldn’t go back, or recommend which is unfortunate because friends love it.

We were a group of 9 for lunch for a coworkers farewell. I had the Jenny special suggested by everyone at the table. It was so flavourful. Our server was on the ball every step of the way. She refilled our waters without having to ask, brought us take out boxes again , without having to ask. And when it came time to pay , she had everything well organized. She even gave us a good laugh or 2. Can’t remember her name , I never remember names, but she had a fabulous pair of glasses to go with her personality. Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu , as we were told that the Jenny is just a starter meal for first timers.

I really enjoy Red Satay in downtown Moncton. But I LOVE this location. I was there a few months ago on a very rare dinner date with my partner. We both like these types of food, and since the opening ( I know that was years ago) we didn't step in. I'm glad we finally had time to try out this place! It was open, clean and had little unique touches that didn't take over the place but enough to notice. <3 The lady serving us was very helpful and even pointed me in a great direction with my food allergy. She gave me great alternatives and I couldn't have been happier. I was worried that since my diagnoses to oysters and sensitive to few other saltwater foods, I didn't think I would be able to eat much of the food there. But I was wrong! Even the server tending to the large party beside us was doing an amazing job being attentive and fast with her party! Keeping them laughing and tending to the orders quickly. They were right beside us, but the party and serves was at a very reasonable volume. Unlike when you sometimes go to other restaurants with larger parties. I can't wait until we can go again!
My only thing, I wish that had some options of smaller platers. This would allow us to feel more comfortable exposing our kids to the restaurant without worry of waste.
Vegetarian options: Since I should avoid seafoods, and fish sauce I was given the option to a vegetarian sauce. I would even say its better then the fish sauce I had before!
Parking: easy to find parking, as we are young, and it was a bright day, we parked in the back. As we know how travel can be with those with little legs or other reason to park closer to the door.

On Tuesday, my wife and I went to Red Satay, and boy did it hit the spot. The food was amazing, but the service was next level. We had a server by the name of Jess, and she was phenomenal. She was very personable and down to earth and very good at relating to us. 100 out of 10.. I will absolutely be going back, not just for the food but hopefully to get the lovely service of Jess!!

Nice size restaurant, clean and good atmosphere. There was a busy Friday night where queue lined up for dine-in (and take-out) but the server was very helpful and considerate. We were welcomed with a big smile and she sat us down quickly. Food was excellent. I agree! Jenny’s special. I understand now when people in town talk about Red Say, they talk about Jenny’s special. Full flavour, fresh veggies and perfectly goes well with their Fish sauce. I was asking for their fish sauce’s recipe but unfortunately waitress said their chef was too busy to get it for me ? Overall, we were happy to have our family dinner at Red Satay Dieppe. I heard they have a second location in downtown, we defo try it out.

This is our fourth time at Red Satay Dieppe and it's been consistenly amazing! This time we decided to make an take out. Still, amzing! Pad Thai/ as authentic as it gets in the area, flavorful combining of lime, crush peanuts and their sweet pad thai sauce.. no joke. You have to try it. Beef-luk-lak: rice a bit dry to me but my son loves it so much. Jenny's special: I get it why always their best seller. Service: 9/10. Highly recommeded!

The food was ok but nothing more. But the service...a big zero. The waiter was super stupid, we didn't understand anything when he spoke to us and wore sunglasses inside. I really felt "rushed" when he took our orders. Too bad because the hostess was really smiling and welcoming. I definitely won't go back if we go back to New Brunswick.
