Food was excellent and very quick service.
This restaurant is found on the second floor of the Grey Rock Casino, in Edmundston.
There's plenty of seating for groups of all sizes and the dining room is usually very clean. During this visit, the place was packed and buzzing. Great atmosphere offering a view overlooking the city on one side of the dining room and the slot machines on the other side.
The service was friendly but a bit slow and disorganized. I was there for a little over an hour, seated at the bar. I had an appetizer, two drinks, a main dish, and a dessert.
I chose the spinach dip for an appetizer. It was good but just a bit too much cheese for my liking.
I ordered the Carbonnera with chicken as my main dish. However, I got shrimp instead of chicken. Not a big deal, for me, as I like seafood and there was no extra charge. They make the Carbonnera with fettuccine pasta, which is a bit different and a bit more filling than the traditional spaghetti option.
I topped it all off with a piece of chocolate cheesecake which was pretty standard.
It was a good meal. Everything tasted nice and fresh and the portions were okay.
In total, not including the tip, my meal cost me about $70. One person could eat for less but I wouldn't expect to eat here for under $40 per person.
So far, I haven't had a bad meal here but I haven't had anything that makes me crave coming back, either.
I'll be back to try something else and maybe spend some more money on the slots.
Decent food. Quite a wait after ordering and multiple mentions of the casino (which you overlook while eating), leading us to believe that they're trying to get you to gamble after your meal. Casino is loud, making it not so easy to have a conversation while eating.
Chicken cordon bleu was okay 4/5; Pasta carbonara was 3/5; spinach dip appetizer 6/5. Liked the house salad.

Bar tender needs to be a little friendlier to everyone not just her friends. I saw two people walk away because she didn’t acknowledge them at all. Never asked me if I wanted food or how my drink was.
Not only was her service bad , it’s like she went out of her way to ignore customers.
Very rare that I leave a bad review but this was a very bad experience.

The steak was delicious, and getting water to drink was our biggest challenge.
