En route to Moncton from Ottawa, we stopped at the Exit 153 to have lunch. It was instant love. The decor is warm and inviting, brick walls with lots of wood, seats and booths in marine blue and burnt orange accents. Lovely! We had the seafood chowder and biscuit, the best chowder we’ve ever had so far, the house salad (with pecans and blueberries), a nice wine vinegar vinaigrette, and a side of crispy, well seasoned fries as a side. Love the atmosphere of this place. Variety of drinks to order. Smaller menu. Food is usually great. Last few times service has been very slow, long times for drinks.
