Perhaps you're fortunate enough to be in the area or maybe you decide to take a leisurely scenic drive to On The Boardwalk Bistro & Wine - either way, the experience will be nothing short of spectacular. Service is attentive, food is fabulous and ambience is relaxed. Highly recommend this gem for any occasion.
We arrived before 5pm and happily ordered cocktails to sit out on the deck with until the 5pm dinner service started. The in house Foccacia bread and garlic herb butter was so good with a nice crunch to it. The summer salad was light and crisp with an excellent dressing. For our mains we had the scallop appetizer in a mint and pea sauce with bacon peices and marscapone( definitely a meal size for me)and the beef medallions with a summer hodgepodge and yummy twice baked type...
The design is outstanding. The food is good, but the prices are absurd. If there was a creative chef turning out unique dishes with a real “wow” factor they could possibly justify $28.00 for a hamburger or $35.00 for a piece of salmon filet. That’s not the case here. The only “wow” is the complete lack of “wow”. If their prices were in line with the “line cook following a set of instructions” menu would be an enjoyable meal. But, give me a break.
