My wife and I were first introduced to the Westfield golf and country club 24 years ago when we had our wedding reception here. Which really is not true because as a teenager, she sold sandwiches to golfers on the course that she had made the night before.
In addition, we have come here many times with my wife’s father who took us out for dinner. Dr Bewick golfed here for 30 years or more.
When we arrived, of course, my wife’s head was flooded with memories of her childhood and teenage years with thoughts of growing up here and her family. When I asked her what was her fondness memory she immediately replied without hesitation, our wedding reception.
We enjoyed a lovely meal at the current restaurant provider in the clubhouse.
I had a rare steak and my wife had the fish tacos and our friend had chicken Caesar.
The meals were delicious and the service was exceptional.
Think about us when you’re done there and create some favourite memories of your own .

Earlier this week we enjoyed supper at the Cask and Kettle located at the Westfield Golf Club. Since it was a beautiful day we dined on the deck.
We ordered the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese with Rosemary Parmesan Fries and the Old School Breakfast.
Everything was delicious and our server Vanessa was wonderful!!! ☺️

The Maple bacon walnut salad was very delicious even though they forgot to put walnuts in mine. They brought them afterwards when I pointed it out.

Was pleasantly surprised by the food here. Nice evening atmosphere on the patio. Prices were relatively decent.

I have eaten at this location a few times now and have been fairly happy with the food. The service has always been good. The restaurant is very loud, but they do have an outdoor patio, which is quieter. The menu is limited, but I have no complaints about the fish tacos, chicken tacos or the burgers.

Patio is beautiful and dog friendly, they will even bring a doggie water bowl ?. Food is excellent as we've come to know Cask & Kettle standards ?. Pictured are the fish tacos. Super crispy batter, but nice and light. We will be back!

Great spot tucked into Grand Bay. The food is great just like uptown location. Friendly staff and the atmosphere is chill with a lot of golfers around. Looking forward to our next visit!

Service was pretty good overall, atmosphere was great, food was great except for our poached eggs might as well have been hard boiled yolks were dry and solid in the centre and hollandaise sauce was very thin and not much of it but had amazing flavour none the less! the honey chipotle fried chicken was to die for tho! And the home fries had the perfect rosemary flavour! Slightly pricey for breakfast but overall a good experience and would recommend giving it a try just make sure to say you want runny yolks if you get poached eggs I guess…
All I wanted for my birthday this year was to try Cask & Kettle. We went today and it did not disappoint. The chicken bites with blue cheese and walnuts were amazing, definitely my favorite. Our waitress was so kind and friendly. I can't wait to go back and am definitely not wanting another year!
Was there last week.I had the burnt ends burger and fries. It was definitely one of the best sandwiches I have ever had and the parmesan fries were amazing.I was in Saint John for a week and cannot rave enough about how great the restaurant scene is here.
I've eaten here numerous times. Food is good but it's not consistent. This past weekend we had a younger gentleman and his service was great. It's very dark, the lightening is terrible. Love the location of it as it's nice to have in the area instead of going uptown.
Parking: Free parking. Lots of it.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.

We went for dinner with friends. Brady our server was friendly and attentive. There was a minor mistake with one of our orders and he went above and beyond to correct it immediately. The food was incredible and the portions were large. We had the Irish poutine and the pulled pork grill cheese both were delicious. We will definitely be back again.
