Waitress told us she wasn't putting our order in right away which resulted in a 45 minute wait for a pancake and some eggs/hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were extreamly bland.

Had to find the lady to order, didn’t check on us, small burger, didn’t check our waters, didn’t bother to make another pot of coffee after I had the last cup- I was told another pot was on…never got another cup. And we had to go to the front to get our bill. We’re in no rush to return.

Had lunch today at Porter's for the first time. Service was fast, food came in a timely manner and our servers was pleasant and friendly. We had the Fish & Chips special and a Bacon Cheeseburger platter. Fish was excellent, nice thin, crispy coating on a large portion of haddock. Burger was cooked properly and topped with crisp bacon and lots of cheddar cheese. I asked our Server about the turkey soup I noticed at a table nearby as it looked delicious, full of big chunks of veggies and made with real turkey, roasted and prepared on site. Served with two large slices of fresh, homemade bread, it looked to be a very satisfying meal. On settling our bill we were presented with a takeout container of soup, enough for two, to try at home. Delicious! We will definitely plan on returning to try some of the other real diner food.
