Delicious food. Large portions - our family of four ordered fries with each of our orders and we would have been fine with two!
I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. My wife had the Mozza Burger and she RAVED about how good it was.
Kids enjoyed their food as well.

What a wonderful lunch today. Was so good I finished it quickly without a picture but got one of my grandson visiting from Alberta. He was waiting for it to cool down because it was so hot.

Our group was late getting to the island last night and Oceanview TakeOut went out of their way to stay open and make amazing fish and chips for all of us. Really great people and great food. You gotta eat here!!!

Arrived on island for night everything closed, a neighbor was waiting for ferry, called around the island for us and the Ocean View opened just to feed us, and husband met us at the ferry to lead us there. Class act all the way. Must visit if you come to the island you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ocean View for taking care of some hungry weary traveller's.

Awesome people, stayed open late for us as we caught a late ferry over. Fish and chips were fantastic.
It took 45 minutes of waiting for our order of a club sandwich and large fish and chips with a side order of fries. At least 6 customers arrived and placed their order, ate and left while we waited for our food.
When asked why it took so long they denied that it did. we have a time stamped receipt. The clerk became rude and said it was because the club sandwich was difficult to prepare.
We do not live far from the Island so we come here every time they are open . I am not well and unable to drive so my husband took me out for the day to have a break.
if we had received good service I would have gladly left a positive post.
we received poor service and a poor attitude.
We will be eating at a different establishment on our future visits.

We were at Deer Island on a wim from PEI and stopped into Richardsons where the sweetest lady offered us so much insight into the area and recommended this wonderful takeout spot!! These are literally the BEST crispy fries I've had in my life! Awesome chicken gravy! Chicken burger was DEVINE! Coleslaw excellent! Service absolutely fantastic as well as wonderful portion sizes!!
10/10000 recommend and will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at ocean view takeout, and I was thoroughly impressed! The outdoor deck offers stunning views of the water, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. But what truly stole the show was the incredible food - each bite was a delight! The portions were generously sized, to say the least, and the prices were remarkably affordable. In fact, my burger and poutine combo cost less than a comparable meal at McDonald's! Talk about value for money! I left feeling full and satisfied, with a big smile on my face. If you're looking for a great dining experience with a beautiful view, look no further than ocean view takeout. Highly recommended!

Called the day before to be sure they would be open. Took ferry and road my bike to here. Waited til thirty minutes after their stated opening time. They never opened.Edit - I called the afternoon before - your answering machine stated that you would be open with the hours. I got there just before noon on October 1 and as you know...you were closed. Maybe I can get up there again.

Had this takeout recommended before we started for Deer Island. First impressions were questionable to say the least but, myself and my travel group were so glad we continued on our quest for lunch. The food was unbelievable delicious. Everything from a simple hamburger to Fish and Chips and a couple of Clubhouse sandwiches in between. Food was hot where it should be hot and cool where it should be. My husband, who gets Fish and Chips no matter we stop to eat, thought it was the best ever. I had the biggest, messiest, most delicious, Club house sandwich. it was huge and I had to pass some of it to my husband to finish.
Strongly advise you to make this stop a priority on your N.B. coastal travels. I am so glad we did.
