Jack’s is tucked away in a plaza on the north side of McAdam, right next to a grocery store and, fittingly, a gun shop. It’s that kind of place. Fast food vibes, no-frills setup, and a menu that covers the classics.

Let’s talk pizza first: the sauce was a win. Thick, flavorful, and generously spread, it really carried the bite. But the dough? Bit of a letdown. It had that squishy, almost undercooked texture that makes you stop mid-chew and question things a little. Edible, yes, but not a highlight. Felt like it needed a few more minutes in the oven (or maybe just a different oven entirely).

Now... the chicken burger. The Big Time. The Booyah. The Yes Indeed. Whatever you want to call it, it delivered. Visually, it looked like something straight out of a high school cafeteria: basic bun, chicken patty, smear of mayo. But one bite in and it was a whole different story. Crunchy, juicy, oddly nostalgic, and somehow perfect. Genuinely one of the most satisfying bites we had on the trip. It’s the sleeper hit of the Jack’s menu, and maybe the whole town.

And the staff? Characters, in the best way. They had that laid-back, slightly indifferent energy, but if you asked the right questions, doors started to open. Literally. They clued us in to a tucked-away lodge on a remote lake that turned into one of the most unforgettable parts of our trip.

At Jack’s, you’re not just buying a chicken burger or a donair. You’re buying stories. You’re buying insider info. You’re buying a ticket to the under-the-radar McAdam experience

I love Jack's Pizza. I don't get to McAdam often but when I do I always stop for eat in if the family is with me, or take out if I'm heading back home.

Been there twice, had a pizza 1st time. Sauce was tasteless think it came right out of a jar, way over priced. 2nd time had something call Fatayer and they were frozen in the middle.. awful. Haven't been back.

Amazing food and service, portions are very generous.

So good! The pizza is awesome, the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are so great! The owner is so sweet, welcomed us as soon as we walked in. And the food was ready super fast. Definitely gonna be going back.

Stopped in on a Friday night. food was fast and service was fantastic. 3 women and a man working and all went out of their way to interact with the children. Extremely friendly.
