Service was great, but the food and experience missed the mark. Our $40+ steaks were overcooked—sent back once, and still not right. No discount, or gesture offered. The “bacon-wrapped asparagus” was just asparagus with bacon bits, the garlic mash was bland, and the restaurant was so hot we were sweating through dinner. For a $200 meal, we expected much better.

A very pleasant dining experience. We ate outside and loved the river view. The server was great. Very attentive and accommodating. I had the steak, and while it was tasty, it was rather thin and had more fat on the edge than I expected. Otherwise, a great meal. The cheesecake was yummy!
My dinner plans fell through elsewhere but 1809 squeezed us in. The ambiance was great, friendly staff and enjoyed a perfect sirloin. Highly recommend!

An upscale quiet restaurant perfect for a couple. Beautiful view of the Miramichi River. Outdoor seating is available. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The classic hamburger and fries were spot on. The burger was a little cold but not enough to want it remade. Fries were very good and not overly salted.
