I went there twice during my stay in Miramichi. Classic restaurant-bar. The atmosphere is good. The decor is charming. Prices are reasonable. The menu is varied. The view of the river is a significant asset. The service is adequate. I liked that my waitress could speak French. My first meal (hamburger) went without a hitch. However, the next day, my order was late (problems in the kitchen) and my meal (club sandwich) was not very hot.
A solid dinner choice and worked well for us staying in the hotel. We sat on the patio on a beautiful evening so the view couldn’t be better. The food was solid - not spectacular. Service is hard to rate - our servers and everyone we interacted with were lovely but it did take a loooong time to get our meals. That seems to be an ongoing challenge here so it was not unexpected and we weren’t in a rush but it wouldn’t be somewhere to eat if you were.
