First time eating at this establishment. I had the lobster wrap & soup and my partner had the hot turkey sandwich platter. Food and service was good. Carpet could be cleaned or removed.

We were really impressed with the portions, prices and quality of the food. Very nice diner style/seafood family restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
21 people we had. This is what was wrong The fish was cooked to a point that it could have been used as a hockey puck. The chicken fried rice was burnt. The crusted cod, I think it was called was so hard we couldn't cut through it with a knife and the taste was horrible. Portage was always our go to place but in the last several years, it's gone way down hill. The food is not even comparable to before. I truly never post negative comments but how can it change if they are not aware.

1.5 hours for breakfast, waitress cluless serving people who came in after and not even thinking to check on our food. Waited a while before speaking up(dropped hints with the coffee refills) When I finally got fed up and asked her where the food was, she blatantly lied and said the kitchen was really busy and had new employees......she forgot to put in the order or they lost it ....own up to it don't lie, we watched people leave that came in 30 mins after we did !!! Breakfast was good when finally arrived.
