Love the subway at 188 king st on the base. Employees make excellent subs, are fast, helpful restaurant is always clean and best of all open 24hrs and even have free wifi
Vegetarian options: Veggie subs, salads rice bowls, veggie patties and much much more
Parking: It is located in building with a circle k Irving and shares the lot that also has a huge transport overnight parking area. Located just off major highway
Kid-friendliness: It's a subway so standard fast food layout with highchairs and change tables, free wifi
Wheelchair accessibility: Must go through 2 glass doors but sidewalk does have wheelchair access

Received friendly and excellent service. My sandwich prepared the way I liked with very nice recommendations.An usual stop when passing by to grab lunch on the go.

Parking: Free parking but as often with Irving/Circle K, entrance door are in the middle of traffic trying to park or leave parking spot. Annoying.
Wheelchair accessibility: Access to wheelchair and designated parking spot but ain't the best setup.

Ordered online and chose the wrong subway my mistake yes , I tried to call immediately to cancel my order , I called for 10 minutes straight And also the other subway tried to call as well . I ended up having to drive an extra 30, minutes out of my way . There should be a way to cancel your order on the app if you made a mistake . Customer service was horrible when I arrived then asked for a call back from the manager, I received a call back from the manager stating that everyone was to busy to awnser my call but had they took the minor inconvenience to awnser the phone I could have canceled my order and wouldn’t of had such a big inconvenience having to drive 30 minutes out my way . I asked to be accommodated for my inconvenience and I was just made felt like I made the mistake and there’s nothing they could do about it . To top it off my sub was a mess with sauce all over the outside of the bun (rushed ). I wouldn’t recommend this subway not just because of the mistake I made and tried to correct but the horrible customer service . I’d much rather the subway in Newcastle they’re always welcoming and friendly .
To the Subway manager. As a client driven individual in my personal and professional life, this subway was absolutely horrible.
Visited October 20th at 8:30 pm with my fiance, who just worked a 15-hour shift, and we drove from Montreal. When entering, we were not greeted. The older man working just decided to stare until I spoke up.
He made no effort to interact or probe to make a sub. Any addition seemed to be an issue to the point that you felt bad for him making the sub. For the manager who runs this restaurant in an Irving 24, you should have people working who are happy, customer service individuals. Truckers have a hard go, and the last thing they want is feeling like they can't order food at Subway due to feeling like you're annoying the staff.
Another issue is when new customers walk in, you do not sigh in front of your current customer. Trust me, no one wants to work these days, but you picked to be a subway artist. Smile and leave personal at the door. Easier said, then done, but you never know what someone on the other side is feeling.
I hope this man finds a job where he feels fulfilled and hope the manager can find good workers to fulfill a simple task.
