The white lady was very unwelcoming and rude. Kept coming and taking my dishes away while we were still eating. Even when we were done she came and handed me the bill. When i tapped my card she said ‘ have a goodnight bye’ and left.
It was 7pm and I’m not sure what was the hurry to make us leave. We left like we had to eat quick so we could just leave.

We were looking for an all vegetarian or vegan restaurant when we stopped over at Moncton during our road trip. But we wanted a place that might have some Indian options as well.
Calactus was the perfect find. We reached there by closing time so we picked up our order. We had ordered a margarita pizza, indian pizza and nachos. And I must say the food was delish. The pizzas were perfect, healthier and did not leave us feeling heavy. The nachos came with fresh guacamole and salsa.
The service from the team there was also very prompt, welcoming and friendly. Loved the vibe of the place and would definitely want to visit it again and have a meal there this time :)

Hands down the best vegetarian food I’ve ever eaten (if not the best food PERIOD)! Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and all around mouth watering dishes. My partner has been coming for years and couldn’t wait to bring me once we were both finally back in town. It did NOT disappoint!! The Moustafa Melt, the Beet & Goat salad, and the carrot cake were our absolute faves. An absolute must visit when in Moncton!!!

My wife and I went for lunch at Calactus a week ago (August 2024) and I can't remember the last time I've been so satisfied with meal. I had a lasagna bolognese and a salad. The salad was very fresh with lots of crunchy veggies. The star of the meal though was the lasagna. If I didn't know the lasagna was vegetarian, I would have never known. Probably ranks as one of the best lasagnas I've ever had. I make a pretty awesome homemade lasagna but this one was way better than mine. My wife also loved her meal. We will be back for sure.
