We tried 4 dishes. Best one was the vegan lasagna!

Hands down the best vegan burger I've ever eaten.

I went while passing through Moncton in a group of 4 (three vegetarians and a vegan). We had a great meal here after a long day. Plenty of options, great appetizers (I had the pakoras and nachos), and good staff. Definitely a place I would return to if I'm nearby again.

The vegetable pakoras and the lasagna with cashew cheese were both delicious and very satisfying in an area with not a lot of vegetarian restaurants. We also had blueberry smoothies, chocolate cake, and strawberry rhubarb crumble, which were all very good.

I ordered in a beet and goat cheese salad today and ended up paying $32.57 (including tip)! The restaurant failed to add beats to the salad. This cost if this item is completely unacceptable. I did add two very small felafels which were three dollars each, but it was still way too much money for so little. Unfortunately I will not be back.

Nice unpretentious place. Food might be very basic but you have to appreciate the effort of this guys to run a vegetarian place in such a burger-lobster City. Keep the hard work.

Food was good. During our visit the waitress for our table changed and so did our experience from good to bad.

I hadn’t been to this restaurant since before COVID, roughly 4–5 years ago. I used to enjoy the falafel flute with chips and tabbouleh, so I decided to revisit for a nostalgic meal. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing.

The waitress (short blonde/gray hair and glasses) did not come across as enthusiastic or particularly friendly. From the moment we sat down, her energy felt cold and disinterested.

When my food arrived, I was shocked by the quality. The falafel flute was practically inedible — whatever the pita had been grilled or smoked on left it tasting strongly like cigarette smoke or overly burnt charcoal. It was unpleasant enough that I told my friend I’d just eat the four small falafel pieces inside, along with the chips and tabbouleh.

We waited over 15 minutes, and not once did she return to check on the food. When she finally came by to clear plates, she didn’t ask how anything was — she simply grabbed my friend’s plate and returned five minutes later for mine. I stopped her and said, “Wait before you take it and run — I don’t normally complain, but this wrap was awful. I’ve had it before and it’s never tasted that bad. Even my hands smell like smoke — it just doesn’t taste right, I’m sorry.” Her only response was a shrug as she walked away with the plate.

I stepped away to the restroom, and while I was gone, she came back to our table and told my friend, not me, “That’s how it’s made, we’ve never had complaints before, there’s not much I can do.” By the time I returned, she had already brought over the bills and the debit machine, presenting my friend with his portion first. She never offered an apology or addressed the issue with me directly.

In the end, I paid $18 for four pieces of falafel, seven corn chips, and a spoonful of tabbouleh. I left no tip — not out of spite, but out of principle. The lack of accountability, poor service, and complete disregard for customer feedback made this visit incredibly disappointing. Saying the experience left a bad taste in my mouth would be an understatement.

Perfect experience for a diner in town, warm welcome and fast cooking.
Not a vegetarian myself so I won't be able to compare but I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a good meal, it's as simple as that !

Best veggie restaurant in Moncton.

Giving a second star for whoever was working in the kitchen as they did a fine job on siding the vegetables for one of my dishes, clearly someone with skill. That and the decor is nice.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The menu lacks vision and feels like something you would see from a similar eatery 10+ years ago. It's a hodgepodge of cuisines that use very different spice profiles which they clearly don't keep on hand.

I'm glad there is a place for locals to get vegetarian food but it was underwhelming for me. Not to mention the service left a lot to be desired.

Delicious Rancheros for brunch. Cute atmosphere with a sheltered patio outside for overflow customers, and maybe 10 tables inside? Friendly service. Busy, so may be a wait for a table. I was cold sitting by the door so rushed a bit through my meal. I don't live in NB but would definitely come back in the warmer months.

This is my favorite restaurant in Moncton. The good is ALWAYS good. I've taken non-vegetarian friends there and they also loved it. The salads are great and fresh. The soups are always good and everything on the menu is tasty. Highly recommend this spot.

Calactus is my FAVORITE restaurant in Moncton. I love the food, the atmosphere and the service. It is locally owned and the quality never changes; always good.
