I recently visited Catch 22 in Moncton and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the lobster chowder, salad, and garlic bread, while my husband enjoyed the lobster seafood pasta. Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant—10/10 experience!

We were really disappointed here. We came as a family of 5, with reservations made several days ahead of time. We were looking forward to a lobster dinner. Our first question when seated was “what is the market price of the lobster dinner?” $58.
After a round of cocktails (a great bourbon sour) and some oysters we were ready to order.
When my wife ordered first, she enthusiastically said “the lobster dinner please”. It’s then we were told they were sold out. Sold out of lobster at a lobster bar?!
We asked for the bill and headed elsewhere. So $100 in drinks and an hour later we were on the hunt for dinner. Not a great experience.
Full couldn't try host extremely rude
Extremely expensive for the quantity on the plate. The cooking of the side dishes leaves much to be desired. In short, this is the last time I’m coming here.

Rather long wait times and pricey, but food was solid. The lobster thermador (not pictured) had no reason being $78 for 1lb of lobster.

The food was good but not that good for it too be as expensive as it was- ive definitely tasted better food that they sell in here for better prices and quality. It’s good but not amazing, that’s what I want to end it with.
The service was not bad, they were busy at the time so i understand if they couldn’t be as helpful as they would want to be.
It was a nice and lively atmosphere, the paper towel of the bathroom was overflowing the trash though but other than that it was good.
note: we did a reservation so there was no wait

This place was recommended to my husband and I for some good seafood and it did not disappoint! We shared some oysters to start and then we got the Coquilles Saint-Jacques and Seafood Risotto. Everything we had was fantastic; so fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared! Reservations are highly recommended as it was very busy, even on a weeknight.

We went back to Catch 22 without knowing the ownership changed. Wow! What a big disappointment! The menu is much smaller, the prices went up (understandbly with everything going up) and the portions were much smaller. The fisherman's platter was tiny! 2 small scallops, 3 shrimp and half a baby lobster for $52! Yikes. The server was wonderful, but we will not be returning.
Love this place! I ordered the seafood casserole. It was delicious! The server was friendly and the food came quick. Great cocktails too!

Just got into NB after 8 hours drive from Quebec City. Checked in to our hotel on Main Street and decided to try Catch22 which was a stone throw away and had really good reviews. Ordered the seafood Alfredo pasta- got 2 shrimp, 2 scallops and 2 pieces of lobster!!! Absolutely ridiculous- paid $38. for a ridiculously small portion! My hubby got the lobster dinner with a side of risotto- for $55. He barely got anything! We also ordered a bottle of wine which was the best part of the meal! We’re currently sitting at Gallagher’s Irish Pub ordering some real food because we left hungry after spending $150+ there. Come on people; we know better! We’ve been around and know value, taste and good service! Extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of food we received.

Catch 22 use to be my go to every time I come to Moncton . But it's been falling off the last few . I got the Fishmans platter and I got a half lobster with 2 tiny scallops and 3 med size shrimp . For the same price . Will not be back
Do Not go here !!! Was Turned away at 800 pm on a Wednesday night due to not having reservations but it was not busy at all . We were very disappointed by this since we are out of towners so we went to another restaurant instead . It looks to me that the restaurant wanted to close early not sure what business sense they have . It was not very nice of thwm . Dont bother going here !
