We were looking for good pub food and we found this place. They have fresh cut fries, decent size portions and reasonable prices. Our server was very friendly. The food was really good and even though we ordered fish and chips and burger and fries, neither of us had that heavy feeling of eating too much greasy food. It was not greasy and I'd say they keep their fryer oil fresh. We were very pleased. We planned to come back to try the poutine and smoked meat sandwich but we didn't get back so hopefully next time we're in town. This is a good place to go if you're looking for a casual, friendly atmosphere and good food :)

What more can be said - New Brunswick’s oldest tavern. A relaxed vibe with lots of locals Great fries, the service is fast and friendly. Fine dining it is not, a fine time with friends it is.

Met with a bunch of friends for lunch. It had just opened and not too many people there. Great attentive and friendly staff. Food was pretty good. Nice atmosphere. Would like to see what its like someday in the evening.

Poise, elegance and class are all words I would use to describe Chris Rock tavern. A Moncton icon and a beacon of excellence.

Location is not great. Lots of homeless in the area. However the Chris Rock was there long before the homeless. Overall good experience.

First time...overall a nice evening. Food was nice. I like that it was a one page menu. Means you do everything well. Service was solid. Was busy...but you did not feel it as everyone was attentive.

Classic establishment in Moncton. Quick walk off of Main Street.

Thursday is wing night after 4pm. $1 wings available in increments of 5.

Cheap beer but limited selection but you can't go wrong with Chris Rock. A staple bar whilst in Moncton.

Great old school tavern. We had the hangover breakfast (because we were hungover). It hit the spot. Nice friendly staff.
