An interesting historical tavern, oldest in New Brunswick, that we wanted to visit. A lot of atmosphere, decent food, and service. Friday is prime rib night which we missed since we were travelling.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, The food was absolutely delicious, everything from the appetizers to the main courses was prepared to perfection. You can really tell they take pride in their dishes.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and will make you feel right at home. It's not often you find a spot where both the food and the service shine so brightly.

Our first time at Chris Rock Tavern. My wife got a regular burger with fries, I got the burger fest burger with fries and an extra side of onion rings. We both had a beer with. The rings were excellent. Crisp, not greasy, cooked just right. Handmade burgers, good size, nice fresh bun. My burger fest was amazing. Pepper bacon, queso sauce and onions. We moved to Moncton in June and we have been eating at many different restaurants in the area. Chris Rock Tavern is the first place we've eaten at that has fresh cut fries that aren't coated or battered. This is the way fries are supposed to be. I will come back here for the fries alone but everything else including the service was great. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended to visit. Check kitchen times. And bar open late. Easy free parking. And Sunday $1 wings are best.

If you haven’t been there you should check it out. Well we went to the Chris Rock Tavern for wing night and burger special .a friends had cheeseburger and it looked delicious . Well the wings 1.00 a wing for jumbo wings were the best I’ve had. Great service as well so if you’re like me and haven’t been there in a while, it’s well worth it trying it out.And they have prime rib on Friday night, so we will be back. 5 Stars.

We were looking for good pub food and we found this place. They have fresh cut fries, decent size portions and reasonable prices. Our server was very friendly. The food was really good and even though we ordered fish and chips and burger and fries, neither of us had that heavy feeling of eating too much greasy food. It was not greasy and I'd say they keep their fryer oil fresh. We were very pleased. We planned to come back to try the poutine and smoked meat sandwich but we didn't get back so hopefully next time we're in town. This is a good place to go if you're looking for a casual, friendly atmosphere and good food :)

What more can be said - New Brunswick’s oldest tavern. A relaxed vibe with lots of locals Great fries, the service is fast and friendly. Fine dining it is not, a fine time with friends it is.
Met with a bunch of friends for lunch. It had just opened and not too many people there. Great attentive and friendly staff. Food was pretty good. Nice atmosphere. Would like to see what its like someday in the evening.
