Delhi-6 Indian Bistro (Moncton)

I visited Delhi 6 Restaurant in Moncton yesterday, and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. First of all, we stood for about 10 minutes, and no one even came to ask if we needed a table or menu. After finally being seated, it took another 10 minutes before someone came to take our order.

We ordered Tandoori Momos and Channa Bhatura. The food arrived after almost 40 minutes, but the Tandoori Momos were the worst I’ve ever had — completely lacking in taste and texture. If you don’t know how to prepare a proper tandoori momo, it’s better not to include it on the menu. The Channa Bhatura was just okay, nothing special.

What really surprised me was the owner’s attitude when we were paying the bill. She spoke to me in a very rude tone, as if questioning why I even came to her restaurant. It seemed like they only care about buffet customers and completely ignore dine-in guests who order from the menu.

If you can’t handle regular dine-in service, then please don’t take orders beyond your buffet. I expected much better hospitality and quality from a place like Delhi 6, but sadly, it was a very poor experience overall.

We been there for the very first time from Ontario, ordered honey chilli potatoes and it was stale fries toasted in the gravy, hard to chew and very thin fries. We ordered makhani pasta as well but cancelled it after the honey chilli potatoes came to the table. Too much price still not serving fresh, not worth the money.

super disappointed. The food was stale and definitely not worth the crazy high prices. Felt like they were just trying to cash in without actually caring about quality.

I had an amazing experience at Delhi Six Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic Indian flavors that reminded me of home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was perfectly presented.

A special mention goes to Simran, who made the experience even better with her excellent service. She was polite, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly stood out.

Delhi-6 Indian Bistro is a fantastic spot in Moncton for authentic Indian cuisine! The food is fresh, flavorful, and served with the perfect balance of spices. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend their curries and tandoori dishes — absolutely delicious! A must-try restaurant for anyone who loves Indian food.

Went there at 7:30 with my friends today and we ordered right away. We ordered our drinks and other dishes at the same time. We got our drinks when we asked the waitress after 20 minutes. Waited around 4t minutes and we got our appetizer after asking again. After waiting for over an hour we got our food. Don't know if it was staff shortage or what, but ruined our evening.
