1 hour wait for food seems abit ridiculous for a fast food place.

I have eaten Dixie Lee most of my life. At least 3 times a month. Great tasting food. The best tasting chicken ever however, for the last three times one of the three piece Dinner seems to be over cook or from the day before. Not fresh as usual??? I will give it another try. If not I will drive a bit and go to another Dixie Lee 20 minutes from Moncton. Hope that it can be resolve. Staff are Awesome and the restaurant is very clean. Thanks

Dixie Lee has been a beloved home staple for over 50 years, and their motto, “If you like chicken, you’ll love Dixie Lee,” couldn’t be more accurate. I bet every family gathering or casual night in is made special with their perfectly fried chicken. There’s something about the crackle of that crispy, golden skin that hits just right, and the way the meat stays tender and juicy beneath it is a testament to their time-honored recipe.

Their meals are as generous as they are delicious, with huge portions of fries, a side of creamy coleslaw, and their signature gravy. The chicken itself is so flavorful, it’s best enjoyed with a warm roll, but I tried it once with steamed rice and found they complemented each other perfectly, especially when drizzled with that savory gravy.

Dixie Lee’s Friday Special, which includes their two shrimp snack, is perfect for those nights when you’re craving a lighter meal. It’s just right for two dinners, especially if you have an appetite for breaded shrimp and crispy fries. The combination of their golden shrimp and perfectly seasoned fries makes for a satisfying meal that’s simple yet delicious.

For anyone who loves Dixie Lee or is discovering it for the first time, it’s more than just fried chicken—it’s a nostalgic taste of home, one that has brought families together for decades.

Chicken was good, salads were good, but for paying 65$ for a family bucket you would think it would come with more fires then a fist full. Was honestly only enough for 2 people barely.

Last weekend I ordered a 12-piece meal, using skip the dish. It took 35 minutes after the driver picked up the order to deliver to us that was just 10 minutes away. The food was not hot and was not in a cooler bag when the driver opened his car door. I get a food poisoning with fever for over 3 days. NEVER I will order from Dixi Lee.

The lady taking orders seems like a zombie, absolutely 0 customer service skills at all, even at a very basic general level. The cashier is also bagging food with arms covered in a strange rash that she is scratching non stop as it flakes everywhere. Does this place have a manager or anyone that can monitor these types of situations? I am very hesitant to eat the food from here after this experience. There’s nothing worse than a place where the person taking the order is so bizarre that they make you feel uncomfortable, not to mention the horrendous rash covering her arms that she scratched the entire time we were ordering and waiting. It’s amazing what this world is turning into lately, Moncton especially.

Don't order food ahead using an app if you're in a hurry. I did and waited almost twenty minutes after I arrived at the time they said it would be ready, around twenty minutes after ordering initially. They told me they don't start cooking it until the person arrives to get the order which is the opposite of why anyone would order ahead. I missed my bus as I expected maybe five minutes in and out at most. It's incredibly stupid and I'm not going back because I just got a lot of stupid looks when I asked why would anyone order ahead if they had to wait for their order anyway. They only said "It's how we do it."

I've been here three times in the last couple of months. Each time, the food was fresh, tasty, and portions were generous. The staff was always friendly. I'd rather eat here then KFC or Popeye's Chicken.

Keep it up ?

Wow! I can't even believe I need to leave a bad review for my favorite chicken joint! I got there with 2 people ahead of me and waited 30 + minutes. Ordered extra wings cause, hello who doesn't love Dixie Lee wings ? They were slimey and seemingly undercooked ,the batter was not typical of dixie lee . I rarely ever complain especially to take the time and energy to do this is beyond me . DO BETTER DIXIE LEE!

This was my first time going there in person. I usually order the chicken and it never disappoints, it’s always good! Pieces are smaller than other chicken places but that might be because it’s organic chicken? I don’t know… the restaurant itself just isn’t satisfying to be in and the attendants aren’t rude but they’re not polite if you get what I mean. I’ll still order the food but I’m never going into the store again

I’m from Bouctouche originally, we have a Dixie Lee there as well, so I was very excited when I saw the Dixie Lee on mountain road. I was expecting the same amount of variety on the menu, such as clams, hamburgers, etc… but all they had was chicken. I don’t mind the Dixie Lee chicken, but here the chicken was bland, the poutine didn’t have proper gravy and the roll was dry. Plus, while ordering the cashier wasn’t very welcoming at all and made me feel like a burden just for being there. If you want a better experience with Dixie Lee, I suggest making the 40 minute drive to bouctouche and trying it there.
