This restaurant seems to me to be the most crappy restaurant in Monctan because whenever I go to pick up an order from here, it wastes 15-20 minutes every time without any reason.
Food was ok, fries were soggy chicken was ok I did not like the spice they put on the chicken skin.
I have eaten here several times and the chicken is always good and I never have to wait very long for my order but their customer service leaves a little to be desired. There was never a plea or a thank you hardly a word is spoken.. Long gone or the days of customer service being as important as the product.
This place should not even have vegetables in the restaurant because the coleslaw and the salad was the most absolute disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. The chicken was not seasoned at all, not fried properly, and the veins of the chicken was still in my chicken, so clearly they did not cut and clean their chicken properly. Their fries had no salt if you’re Caucasian and you like bland, dirty food by all means this would be the place to go.
Those are the places to stop by and have a bit to eat. I love taking advantage the daily specials
For a canadian company it sure doest feel canadian, looks like they only hire immigrants
lol food overprice and they forgot my sauce
I called to to make sure my order was ready when I arrived and was told over the phone it would be at 1:00 pm. I showed up and paid at 1:00pm. I asked how Long till I get my meal the person st the cash looked and said two minutes to put in the box. Three orders get served before me and ten minutes latter still no order. I have 30 minutes for lunch. Ten to get there ten to get back to work and ten to eat if I do not eat while driving. I asked for my money back and thank the person on cash for waisting my lunch hour. Now I have to work the restof my day with having eaten anything.
Food = Decent. Fish was overcooked a bit, but it was still okay. Fries were great.
Service = Terrible. Zero greeting, and in fact the first thing the lady said to me was quite rude, even after I greeted her with a smile and a hello. Zero customer service and social ability from the lady that took our order. It was very clear she absolutely hates her job and takes it out on customers. This is completely unacceptable.
Service time = Reasonable. We waited roughly 8-10 minutes for 2 meals.
It would be far from my first option, but I would likely return. However, if I walked in and saw the same lady working the cash I'd simply turn around and take my business elsewhere just based on principle alone, and likely never return again after that.
I see other reviews of people complaining about rude employees as well. I think management would be wise to take these complaints seriously and do more staff training, or have better hiring practices.
1 hour wait for food seems abit ridiculous for a fast food place.
I have eaten Dixie Lee most of my life. At least 3 times a month. Great tasting food. The best tasting chicken ever however, for the last three times one of the three piece Dinner seems to be over cook or from the day before. Not fresh as usual??? I will give it another try. If not I will drive a bit and go to another Dixie Lee 20 minutes from Moncton. Hope that it can be resolve. Staff are Awesome and the restaurant is very clean. Thanks

Dixie Lee has been a beloved home staple for over 50 years, and their motto, “If you like chicken, you’ll love Dixie Lee,” couldn’t be more accurate. I bet every family gathering or casual night in is made special with their perfectly fried chicken. There’s something about the crackle of that crispy, golden skin that hits just right, and the way the meat stays tender and juicy beneath it is a testament to their time-honored recipe.
Their meals are as generous as they are delicious, with huge portions of fries, a side of creamy coleslaw, and their signature gravy. The chicken itself is so flavorful, it’s best enjoyed with a warm roll, but I tried it once with steamed rice and found they complemented each other perfectly, especially when drizzled with that savory gravy.
Dixie Lee’s Friday Special, which includes their two shrimp snack, is perfect for those nights when you’re craving a lighter meal. It’s just right for two dinners, especially if you have an appetite for breaded shrimp and crispy fries. The combination of their golden shrimp and perfectly seasoned fries makes for a satisfying meal that’s simple yet delicious.
For anyone who loves Dixie Lee or is discovering it for the first time, it’s more than just fried chicken—it’s a nostalgic taste of home, one that has brought families together for decades.

Chicken was good, salads were good, but for paying 65$ for a family bucket you would think it would come with more fires then a fist full. Was honestly only enough for 2 people barely.

Last weekend I ordered a 12-piece meal, using skip the dish. It took 35 minutes after the driver picked up the order to deliver to us that was just 10 minutes away. The food was not hot and was not in a cooler bag when the driver opened his car door. I get a food poisoning with fever for over 3 days. NEVER I will order from Dixi Lee.
Meals are always great. Very good value for the money.
