Located in the heart of downtown Moncton, Dolma offers an array of local and international foods.I have visited this location sporadically in the last 5 years and always left feeling slightly underwhelmed. The outside of the building is beautifully restored and decorated, with well displayed exterior signage. The dolma food store is located on the first floor of the building, while the second floor houses a restaurant and rooftop lounge. The store is warm and welcoming with food themed decor. The store is primarily divided in aisles, with the back having freezers containing PEI beef and an array of other meats and foods. The store has always been very clean when I visit, and it is well illuminated thanks to the multiple sources of natural and artificial lighting. The right side wall has an extensive refrigerated deli counter, alongside a refridgerated, cheese, premade food and produce counter. The products found in the non refrigerated aisles are a bit underwhelming and can be found at most other similar types of stores. The dry food selection is rather uninspired with nothing 'proprietary' or note worthy. The deli counter has many cut to order meats, along with prepacked meats. The only reason I keep going to dolma is for two specific meat products : duck prosciutto and PEI blue dot beef. The duck prosciutto is incredibly difficult to find elsewhere in the province, and it is cut in front of you by weight. While it is not cheap, it's a specialty and not something you eat daily. It's an experience not for the faint of heart, but worth trying if you can afford it.The cheese selection isn't extremely vast. If anything, it is laughable at best. They carry a limited selection of local and imported cheeses, but you can find far larger diversity of quality cheeses at numerous other establishments in this city. The PEI blue dot beef is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it.I purchased a housemade dolma PEI blue dot beef meat pie. While the inner sauce was nice and rich, and the crust decadent and buttery, it was definitely lacking in meat for a 20$ meat pie.I've always received excellent service from the cashiers and even better service from the butcher and meat counter attendant. The last time I was there, I was served by a hilarious and friendly european woman who sliced the duck prosciutto with finesse and precision. All in all, the food selection is 'meh' at best (besides the 2 meats I've highlighted), but the service is excellent. It just feels as though the store has always had an identity crisis and doesn't know exactly what it wants to be. Highend? Diverse? You tell me.

Great Place With Soo Many Amazing Things To Try!

Potemkin village of a market. Good decor but food is often subpar or just plain bad. Worst Portuguese egg tart I’ve ever tasted that was basically a flavourless meringue pie, no lamination on the sides (I’ve had better ones from grocery chains, let alone the ones from HK, Portugal and low-key Hamilton bakeries)Also worst samosa I’ve ever had. Cold crunchy potatoes, despite being reheated for several minutes. 2$ convenience store samosas are more filling + better tasting and oh yeah… actually cooked! Finally a lot of “fresh” produce is rotting on the shelves. Almost as if they just wanted something green on the shelf.Could still be a good place for select cuts of meat, but is sorely lacking in countless areas.

Food is good, prices a bit high (most) service from the workers is good but the owner isn't a very nice individual therefor the energy isn't there ... and by the way they don't know how to use the microwave haha, they will just decline to warm up your salsa. If you don't like cold salsa screw you cuz "is not supposed to be nuked for the client" ( so the master cheff said) ok i'd save my $ then don't sell me that lol. Another unsatisfactory Moncton weird stablishment!

Complete joke of a store. If you make the mistake of shopping here, check the dates as they sell customers expired meats and week old "fresh" breads/deserts.

Introducing "Little Miss", my new lunch favourite with baby shrimp, crisp apple and cilantro. The friendliest, knowledgeable staff.Large variety of fresh produce, meats, fish and decadent desserts. The lunch counter offers soups, exotic salads and freshly made sandwiches as well as falafel and some sushi options.Lots of "hard-to-find" items available in the grocery section.Support a local business, who also supports local.Clean store, parking on site.

These folks have the best tabouleh and quiche among so many other things. We look forward to going to this store each time we are in Moncton.

I was here to get some bread and lunch meat it cost me $50. I asked if the bread was fresh and she looked at me as if I was weird and assured me the bread was super fresh! Not even close it was soo old my guess 2 days old. The meat was OK not worth the price. I found everything there to be over priced.I'm so disappointed. Will never come here again, the customer service was the only good thing, that's it. What a waste of money that day. I miss Ontario!

This is my favourite grocery in NB. The quality is awesome and the team are friendly & like what they do. This is like an old school neighbourhood place that is not easy to find today. Great energy here.

Exceptionally well sourced food market offering the highest quality whole foods. Mike gets a shout out for his knowledgeable service. Featured here PEI Blue Dot Beef Brisket ready for the smoker! I give 4 out of 5 Stars always leaving room for improvements.

The restaurant is under new management and has very limited open hours. The grocery store has limited vegan options, not much (if anything) to go. Nice produce section though. I got the house made vegan donair meat… yuck, honestly.
