I need more than 5 stars to give Chef Rae and High Tide, holy cow! Our wedding was absolutely perfect largely because the food and service were phenomenal. Chef Rae was so professional and easy to communicate with and he, chef Jeremy, and the lovely staff were so accommodating to our [extremely energetic] guests. The appetizers blew me away but the meal —- I kept hearing that it was the best wedding/large event meal people had ever had and I completely agree. All food sensitivities and allergies were taken into account, as well. We had our wedding at a family cottage and the kitchen was left cleaner than when they arrived (totally forgot about your indoor space, Rae, my bad)! The food staff were wonderful and attentive and our bartenders were a hoot. I am so grateful to have met you all and cannot thank you enough for making our day so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. Rae and his team at HighTide Food Group delivered an outstanding wedding lunch that left our family and friends thoroughly impressed. The menu was exceptional – from the fresh peach arugula salad with toasted almonds, plated and served so beautifully, to the buffet-style main course of braised beef boneless short rib with gravy, roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and perfectly cooked carrots and green beans. The flavors were rich, the beef tender, the vegetables crisp yet juicy, and every detail was just right. A special chicken plate was also thoughtfully provided for one of our guests. Beyond the food, the service was remarkable. Rae’s team was diligent, professional, and patient, especially during the long pause between the main course and dessert while speeches were being made. Their attentiveness ensured everything flowed smoothly. Our family, friends, and I were so pleased that we will gladly order again at the next opportunity. Thank you, Rae and team, for making our celebration truly memorable.

Rae was extremely responsive to all emails and calls, and worked with me to design an excellent menu, exactly as I dreamed of. There was wonderful appetizers passed around during cocktail hour. An excellent buffet dinner, and then strawberry shortcake for dessert.
They also staffed the wedding with very friendly servers.
And when all done, as the wedding was at my moms house, they cleaned and even mopped the floor.
From start to finish working with high tide group was excellent, and the food was amazing. I received so many compliments in the days that followed the wedding on the food.
