“I would call it Korean ramyeon rather than Japanese ramen. The noodles are softer and less flavourful. Granted I didn’t exactly order a traditional ramen either. The menu leans more Korean overall. Loved the chashu tho. Good portions, lovely service.“

“Ole sushi is my go to for tonkatsu ramen and sushi. The service here is above any restaurant in the greater Moncton area. Don’t sleep on this place.“

“Since moving to New Brunswick in July, we’ve tried a few Japanese restaurants in the area, and Sugar Roll has definitely been the best so far. The flavors were authentic, and the ramen was outstanding—the broth was rich, and the noodles were just right. It really hit the spot! The only downside was the meat, which was a bit tough, but overall, this place exceeded our expectations.“
“Tried the Teriyaki beef bowl. The food is a little bit bland... I think a bit more seasoning of the vegetables and meat would be good. But I didn't meant to be too negative since I think it is very healthy... lots of greens and l like the rice. The Teriyaki sauce is not so great, there are definitely better tasting teriyaki sauce. Overall, a good healthy meal but the sauce needs improvement.“
