Great breakfast, very busy when 8 was there on a Saturday but the service and food were great. Don't be in a hurry during a busy time that's all.

No stars, do not eat here, no service, waited a long time to order drinks, waited over an hour for our food, during that time the waitress wouldn't come over and refill our drinks and we never got our food.. ended up leaving without getting any food was very hungry went down the road to Swiss chalet and they treated us much better

First came here on advice of a coworker and come back now and then when we are in Moncton and looking for a sit-down old fashioned meal.

This is the place to go if you want something like a hot sandwich or a hamburger platter.

I find the prices reasonable and the food good.

Jean's is one of those restaurants that makes you feel right at home. Great food, great service and a big restaurant that's always full.

Tried Jean's for the first time last night based on the mostly high reviews.

The good: great location, lots of parking, lots of seating inside, our server was extremely friendly and the service was good with the exception of....

The not so good: the entire experience was nearly two hours, including a 50 minute wait for food - it was a Friday night, so maybe it was busier than usual, but there were lots of staff

The okay: the food was good, but didn't blow me away...it was kind of luke warm. The hot sauce that I got on the side with my chicken burger stole the show

Overall, I'd rate this more between a 3.5-4 star experience.

That being said, I'd definitely go back another time to try again.

My family of 5 went here today (10/06/2025) for the first time.

My oldest child had a classic burger and fries, my middle child a Caesar salad with garlic bread, my youngest had pancakes with sausage and pan fries, my wife had potato skins with no bacon, and I had a bowl of seafood chowder.

My oldest and youngest remarked at how much food was on their plates and both said it was good. My middle child wanted to eat in the car so his was done to go, and my wife went out to eat with him. Staff also brought the to-go packs out to my wife and son. Wife hought the portion of potato skins could have been a bit larger but was otherwise good.

My seafood chowder was in between good and great. I thought the broth was good but could have been a bit thinner with less pepper. The amount of seafood and vegetables was adequate but I think offering a $20+ bowl of seafood chowder, there could have been more of everything

Overall, everyone's meal was good, just misses the mark slightly.

Food was great. Had a steak dinner for maybe five bucks more than at a fast food place.

I was served a hamburger, sloppily put together, with the top bun sliding every which way, and with the driest meat patty I've ever eaten! I normally like to eat there, but not this time. ☹️. (Sorry, folks).

Want to go somewhere affordable but worth every penny, try Jean's! We always order the breakfast poutine with a coffee. We end up drinking like 6 cups and finish our food so full, we're about to burst.
Definitely worth the drive!

We had Family over and decided to go to Jean's for supper, our waitress was nice but we waited an hour and a half for our meal, I'm not sure why it took so long as it wasn't overly busy also other tables were being served before ours I'm thinking there must of been a mixed up on when the orders were coming in, we use to go there a lot but now the food isn't the best anymore and the service has gone down hill.

Stopped here for a family supper on our road trip to the East Coast. Amazing staff, lovely atmosphere, you truly feel like you're eating homemade meals. Hubby and I shared the seafood platter, my daughters had the pasta and chicken fingers. My daughters loved their ice cream for dessert. We shared a peanut butter cheesecake slice at the end which was to die for!
