I have been eager to get in to try this place since it opened! Today, I finally did and I must say overall it was lovely. Let’s do a break down, shall we?

Parking: Every time I have attempted to come visit Jemmy parking has been an issue. Today, however, we found a spot! For that I am grateful ☺️. If there is one criticism I have for this place it’s lack of parking and/or insufficient detail on where you can park. The street is often full as is the back of the building. So it’s very much hit or miss. If there is parking somewhere else for the building I honestly couldn’t tell you where it is.

Cafe Environment and Aesthetic: Jemmy has a truly beautiful setting. It has gorgeous interior design. Comfortable seating and feels very high end. The minute you walk through the front door you feel like you’ve left the city and entered a whole new world. The Marble walls and black/gold accents make the place feel luxurious. The environment is comfortable and quiet (today) with some nice music playing in the background. The food showcase beautiful. Honestly, had a hard time deciding what to try! It all looked amazing. Bonus, I noticed there is a Spa at the back of this building. You could literally go to the Spa and bring yourself over after for extra pampering…how awesome is that?

Service: Friendly and quick. We were greeted with a smile and left with waves and smiles. That was lovely. One thing I’d suggest working on would be knowing your showcase just a bit better. You should be knowledgeable on what is being served to the guests. If you have a soup in the showcase you really do need to be aware of what kind of soup it is. If you have desserts you should know what their flavours are. I think that’s important for good service. But, it’s very possible the person serving us today was new. I don’t know. The others around them seemed aware. So that was okay. Oh, I almost forgot! They have these great little signs on the tables where you can push a button and it will advise them of your needs! Amazing, every restaurant/cafe should get these things!

Prices: Honestly, not terrible. Had a nice spread of food for what I would say is pretty standard pricing.

Food: Served on beautiful dishes when you eat in. Chicken salad on a croissant was tasty. Croissant was buttery and flaky. Delicious. Soup, was some sort of butternut squash. It was okay. Nothing special. But a nice portion. Dessert was delicious! Beautiful, light, not sickeningly sweet. I probably could have eaten a dozen of what I had it was so good. My Americano was an Americano. Good size. Tasted like a coffee 🤷🏻‍♀️. Overall I would say meets their gourmet title. I’d go back for sure 👍.

Way overhype. I don't care to pay when its good quality and taste amazing, but wasn't the case. The pastry looks good tho but didn't taste good. So so disappointed

Great place! Very friendly and polite staff. Clean and cozy. Magical coffee and delicious desserts. But I want to point out the owner. He came in from the kitchen wearing a jacket and stood near the food. It looked awful. Please give the waiters and staff a good tip. I'll be back!

Not a good experience. Staff is not welcoming of friendly. Yes, the decor and style of the place is great, but that alone will not keep this place afloat. The food is expensive, and honestly it's nothing special (taste wise). I wouldn't waste your time and money going to Jemmy Gourmet, there's plenty of better places in Moncton & Dieppe.
