Older gentleman that took my order was polite, place inside has a nice retro vibe and very spacious.
Generous portion of rice and chow mein, garlic spare ribs were very tender and tasty, Rice is good, chicken balls were decent, good egg rolls and fortune cookies..
Looking forward to try their buffet.

Best Garlic Spare Ribs in town

Kim Long was actually so good. Everything tasted fresh and you could tell it was made properly, not just thrown together. Portions were generous and the food came out hot and fast. Service was easy and friendly, nothing awkward. I’d 100 percent come back and probably order the same thing again.

The people are fine, the dining is fine, but the food is meh. It wasn't busy when we went in so a lot of the food had been sitting out for a while and some of it was even cold.
Better than doing dishes but nothing to get excited over. I also have extremely high standards after eating at the Mandarin in Ontario. Nothing else just comes close to it anymore. :(
Everything was cooked thoroughly and staff were friendly/polite. I remember seeing a review saying their seating arrangements are small but I can't say it was an issue. Five of us sat at a table together and one of them was over six feet tall. I'm a pretty big gal myself and sat just fine. I think if anyone encounters this issue, you need to change up the seating arrangement so your elbows aren't bumping.

We tried this restaraunt because we heard from someone that it was good. Despite the bad reviews we seen we tried it and we loved it! Lots of food for the price. Very fresh and we found out they have a buffet which we will be trying soon. Don't believe every review you read before you try it as there are a lot of Negative Nancy's around. Also the chow mein was the best chow mein I tried in NB and PEI. Everyone else's chow mein tasted like dirt but this restaraunt's chow mein was actually good. We will be back for sure

Disgusting Experience — Never Again!
We went to this café with kids. From the very first step, you can feel the unpleasant, stale atmosphere. The interior looks like something from the Great Depression: wallpaper peeling, old chairs and tables — and not just old, but “updated” by covering the tabletops with cheap laminate, uneven and crooked. It literally feels like you’re eating in a prison dining hall.
The table for four was a tiny 70×70 cm square — barely enough space for a phone, let alone your arms after they bring the plates. Once the dishes were served, there was simply nowhere to put your hands. The plates had chips along the edges. I’m sure even an asylum cafeteria looks more decent.
Now, the food — yes, the portions are large, but the meat was cut so small and thin, about 1×2 cm pieces, that you could neither see it nor taste it. The total amount of meat was maybe 30 grams. For the same money, we could have gone to an all-you-can-eat buffet, walked up to the counter with ready dishes, and taken as much meat as we wanted, as many times as we wanted.
The bill came to $80 for three portions, and most of it was just noodles and vegetables. Unreasonably expensive, unpleasant to look at, and disgusting to sit in. I do not recommend it, and honestly, places like this should be banned and shut down.
Service was top-notch, the food on the other hand.... egg rolls were the only thing that came hot. Food was bland and unappetizing

Food quality has gone down over the years..last few times I ordered there (only because my place was closed)the rice was like overcooked minute rice..mushy and soggy..good fried rice isn't soft and mushy..I won't be going back anytime soon
