Lovely lunch for a girls’ meet-up – simple and healthy menu, cozy French bistro atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try dinner soon!

Les Brumes du Coude is a must try if you are a foodie who enjoys fine cuisine. The menu items change frequently, and not every item will be to everyone's taste, but the flan and beef croquette were amazing!!

Fine dining in a casual environment. I have been several times and each time it gets better. Service in both official language and a staff that care about the customer and how you feel about where they work. Capped off a great weekend in Moncton and Shediac.

Outstanding place for creative cuisine. We loved the lobster and shrimp quenelles, the Comte Flan and the Scallop Ceviche. Nice and airy inside and there’s a lovely outdoor patio. Our server was excellent - friendly and helpful.

Perhaps it was the menu choices for the week but we were not interested in the only 2 entree choices they had. We decided to have 2 appetizers and then head to dinner elsewhere. The escargots were good but extremely salty. The beef tartare was mush and not cut properly. That was overpriced, over $50 for just those 2 dishes, plus a lemonade that tasted like lemon water. With the kitchen and dining room in the same room, it is extremely hot inside. Service was great even though we decided to skip out after the appetizers. We might try again in the future, depending on the choices of the menu.

Best restaurant in Moncton by far. Phenomenal food and even better service. I’d give it more than five stars if I could

Our best restaurant experience in Moncton so far. Special mention to the scallop ceviche ! Price was reasonable for the quality of the food. Service was particularly friendly and helpful, even providing restaurant recommendations for the rest of our trip.
It is to be noted that the temperature in the restaurant was a little bit hot during our visit (june), but with the door from the patio open, it stayed ok for us to enjoy our evening!
Would highly recommend.

Brumes du Coude is hands down our favourite restaurant—not just in Moncton, but anywhere. It’s where we go for most of our date nights and special occasions, and every time we leave, we feel like we’ve just experienced something special.
The food is consistently incredible. They take local, seasonal ingredients and turn them into something truly elevated and creative. We’ve tried things here we never would have ordered anywhere else—and ended up loving them. Honestly, just by going back again and again, we’ve learned so much about food and even wine.
And the service is just as unforgettable. Mireille and Jacqueline are warm, genuine, and make you feel like you’re part of the Brumes family. They really love what they do, and it shows.
We truly believe Brumes du Coude is one of the best restaurants—not just in Greater Moncton, but on the world stage.

I came to Moncton with my wife for a special weekend away. I looked at all the restaurants, and not knowing the restaurants I read the reviews.
I didn't see any redflags, and really the bag reviews seemed like sour grapes.
It started well, the restaurant is very nice and quaint. The servers we good, it is a little more French than English, but I have Acadian background and I was able to make do...the appetizers were great, only single cheese and bread but presentation was top notch.
It was only the mains where things came Completely off the rails. I was very impressed by the photos and comments, so I was caught off guard by what we were served.
There is only 2 options per night, so my wife and I each picked one of the offerings. My wife had the chicken. It was bland and dry. We are decent cooks, and it felt like the chef was on auto pilot on that one....but really, what I was served I can only describe as garbage. It was pasta with prime rib in a kind of ravioli. I scraped the sauce off and the beef was not too bad, but the sauce was almost a exact replica of Chef Boyardee® ravioli. Thr colour's, texture and flavor. It was overpowering and terrible. You could not taste the beef at all and there was some roasted potatoes (I think) that were basically McCain home fries. This was a Saturday night seating at 6:30....what the hell?! Was the actual chef sick?
I ate there once before a while back and remembered it being good, so I took and chance and brought my wife... Never again. There is now excuse to serve this. You need to test things out before you serve them.
I didn't want to post this, I was going to send a note privately, but now I am second guessing all those reviews that said this place was not worth it.
I decided I should make.this.public so no one else makes the mistake I did....this was the only negative on our whole getaway to Moncton. I did not want to cause a scene, But I really wish I sent my meal back. But since there was only 2 main courses, and the other one wasn't acceptable either, we would have ended up at Macdonalds because what chance was there of getting another decent restaurant with no reservation on a sat night.
If you are feeling lucky, give these guys a shot, they are rated well, but don't trust them with a special occasion, they don't deserve the trust.

Absolutely fabulous!
The room is small. Hence, a reservation is recommended. We sat at the bar as it's our favorite seating.
Service was outstanding, and so was the food.
We ordered a number of dishes to share. Cheese starter, terrine, cod, tartare, ceviche, and escargot.
Delicious!
I highly recommend this restaurant.
My first business trip to Moncton and stumbled upon this highly rated French restaurant and it did not disappoint. Lively atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. Felt like I was transported to France for the evening, thank you!
The special brunch event was really good. The staff were nice and the food was excellent.
The presentation of the main courses was a little lacklustre. The food was delicious but it didn’t look very visually appealing. Looks were deceiving because we ate every bite!
The desert was fantastic and they refilled my coffee mug as often as I emptied it!
I would definitely recommend it to a friend to try out!
We recently dined at Brumes du Coude, and while we had high expectations, the experience fell short.
We started with the oysters, which were fresh and delicious—easily the highlight of the meal. We also tried the beet & scallop appetizer, which was good but not particularly memorable. For our mains, we both ordered the halibut & rizzoto, but it was underwhelming. The portion was surprisingly small for the price, and the dish itself lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for.
Service was inconsistent. The gentleman who welcomed guests and also served tables was warm and attentive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our assigned server didn’t share the same level of hospitality. At times, it felt like we were inconveniencing her. Our wine glasses sat empty for 10–15 minutes before she finally returned to ask if we wanted another glass—something we wouldn’t expect at a restaurant of this caliber.
Perhaps if we had the gentleman as our server and a more satisfying main course, the experience would have been different. But for over $200+ for two people, we expected much better food, portions, and service. Sadly, we wouldn’t return, as there are other restaurants in Moncton offering a far better experience for the same—or even less cost.
Absolutely love this charming little resto! Food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Highly recommend. It’s a little hard to find, nestled in a school/art centre and no signage. Only negative but everything else was spot on
