Went to have lunch with a group of friends on New Brunswick day and it was CLOSED! All the stores, the ice-cream place, the zoo, the water park etc, all open. But the restaurant closed. On the website it says it’s open. Too bad…

I went into the ice cream store at around 11:40 on the 22 july, and the worker was rude. I have been taking my business elsewhere

We stop in every year. There are so many things in the gift shop to choose from. The fudge in the treat shop is a must buy too.

We enjoyed our time here on the wharf. We took advantage of all the photo ops available, wandered through the shops and spent some time feeding the ducks/ geese. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful spot. ☺️

Me and my two children just had a meal here. The children shared a french fries and I had a chicken nacho. It's the most disgusting nacho I ever had, It had the texture of a soup. I was completely disappointed as I had to take napkins to take the floating sauce of some of the chips in order to eat some. Service was poor, table was sticky, no water (had to ask for some when we got food). My 4 and 5 year old ask for ustensiles and none were available to us but the others client has some. Loved the decor. We want be back at this location when we do our yearly visit at the zoo. Instant regret eating here, huge headache after. I did share my disappointment w the manager before leaving she did provide two small ice creams for the children free of charge. The ice cream was good. Leaving half the nacho behind as it was uneatable due to amounts of sauce even after I soaked it all up with 4 napkins is not my style. Again disappointed that I didn't get to eat the tomatoes and onions and having to pay $ all this money. Perhaps they need to reorganize the way they serve tables and having waitress come in and give a menu and check up on the tables...as it was in the good old days. The model of paying before you eat and not giving or caring for clients is lacking in this case.

Food was great, a little pricey though. I have never had to order something in advance before sitting down with my family.

Second review (though many more visits since first) June 25 2024
Both my lovely wife Pat and I still enjoy this little village. Eating at their wharf restaurant we decided to go with splitting a two fish and single order of chips dinner. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Pat's not into coleslaw so I ate that and found it delicious as well. Not a crumb was wasted. Always look forward to going back.
First visit June 29 2023
I enjoyed the fish & chips with beer that I ordered. Fish was lightly battered, moist and flaky white inside.
There were only 3 beer types to choose from. I was content with the Coor's Light (didn't pay attention to the other 2 types).
When I looked over to get a picture of my wife's (Pat) meal she had already eaten her lobster roll. She did state there was a bit too much mayonnaise, no celery and no onions (she can be particular). She did enjoy the bottled water.
Both of us agreed that there was too many fries. One share would have been more than enough for the 2 of us. Excellent fries though.
Enjoyed sitting inside to eat on this hot June 29th day. Plenty of seating on this particular day, inside and out.
We enjoyed our stroll through the remainder of the village.
Both split a beavertail treat over by the splash pad area. Tastie treat before driving to previously arranged engagements (otherwise we would have stayed longer. Beautiful place.

I'm sure it is a real nice place, but, I expected that if I click on the website, more information would be presented. Like when does the wharf open up for the season. What stores can be found on the wharf. Maybe in the future there will not be a lack of information on the website.
