Wow! What an awesome experience at Montana’s this evening!
I happened to be passing through Moncton tonight on the way to the cottage on Baxter Mountain in Nova Scotia only because the flight from Greenville, South Carolina to Philadelphia and then to Halifax was full this morning so I flew to LaGuardia in New York and then to Bangor, Maine where I rented a car and headed for Central New Annan.
A childhood friend who lives in Moncton called while I was driving through Maine and we decided to meet and go out to eat. I got to town a little late so most places were closed but Montana’s was still brightly lit up about 9:45 pm even though the parking lot was empty.
On a lark we decided to see if we could grab something fast and went to the entrance where we found that the manager was about to lock the door. To our surprise, Manager Josh welcomed us very warmly and said he would tell the kitchen staff not to shut anything down yet.
A waiter, Millie, who had been arranging tables, came up and said that she had talked to the cooks and that we could order anything on the menu. She made us feel like we weren’t causing the least problem coming in just before Montana’s closed. She brought chipotle burgers and fries and had such a sweet spirit even though we were adding to her end-of-shift duties.
What an outstanding experience we had at Montana’s! Hats off to the exceptionally dedicated staff members we met who went above and beyond!

Asked for lunch special at 4.05 ,we were there at 3.55 ,the waitress said she had no idea of the time ,she could of at the very least ask her manager,not very helpful,we did not argue.

Not a place I’d recommend for steak lovers. The meat was so dry that it lacked the juicy, flavorful experience you’d expect. Overall, an average spot with room for improvement in preparing a good steak.

Julian was on top with my lemon water ! I went in on the all you can eat ribs, and Julian was always checking in if I wanted to start an other round of ribs! Food was good! Kudos to him for the great customer service! We will definitely have to come again!

Our server Nav was very friendly and did a great job, ribs and wings excellent, not a fan of the fries or coleslaw. However …. The place could use a very good dusting, lights are covered in dust and cobwebs hanging over the tables. Also a lot of dust on the vent piping. Just made it look dirty.
