The price to quality ratio for the makis is INSANE. In Montreal, for their price you would get maybe 5 pieces but there, you get THE roll. We weren’t aware of it so we took a lot of makis and they definitely didn’t disappoint! Our favourite was the one with the creamy lobster. We did wish there could be more lobster (or less cream), but it was still delicious. The other makis were morr standard-ish but still good nonetheless. The miso soups were quite tiny though but that’s a detail we can oversee.

Waitresses and waiter were all so nice! We came in quite last minute, but they were still very accommodating and didn’t kick us out the minute the store was officially closed.

Wish they had a spot in Montreal too!

The interior was very nice and had a good atmosphere. Unfortunately the waitress was cold and seemed a bit unfriendly, but the other waiter was at least more welcoming.

I had the veggie tempura roll which had too much tempura in it (yes I understand it's supposed to have tempura in it but this was over the top). And the salmon avocado roll, something seemed off. My Korean girlfriend wasn't impressed either and said it was because the seaweed used didn't taste fresh. Normally the seaweed shouldn't overpower the rest of the ingredients but it did.

Overall it was disappointing, but I will say that the avocado used had no brown spots at all so that was good at least. It's pretty much like the other Japanese restaurants in town. Not great quality with high prices.

The Hibachi section of the restaurant is definitely the highlight of this restaurant. It is definitely great entertainment, on top of amazing food.

The host was not friendly when we came in even though we had a reservation for tonight. She seemed really annoyed. I mean why work in customer service if you don’t know how to service your customers. I understand everyone has a bad day, but that’s not the way Customer service works.They ended up denying our service.
Even though we are regulars in the area and we always spend around $500-$600 every special occasions we have here
You probably don’t need customers retention bc you are the only option in the city for Hibachi😂

Absolutely amazing experience! Service and food was incredible, huge portions of food and very flavorful meal. Had the Bento box for lunch and portion size was fantastic. Thanks, we will return for sure
