I’m sorry to just find out the Rice Bowl has closed after decades of wonderful service. You will be missed. Best Canadian East Coast Chinese food anywhere. We will forever remember you, your food, and your kindness. We lovingly say “you want pop?” in memory. Thanks again for everything and wishing the family the best in the future.

By far one of the best Chinese food my wife and I have ever had, she has been going for about 30 years and I've been going with her for the past 13. The workers were always friendly and nice and the food was always delicious, we are sad to see them close their doors. We wish them all the best.

At the moment it is Take out and not yet eat in. The food was outstanding in flavour and quality. Refreshing to have something home cooked and not drowning in mass produced heavy sauces they did not make on site. The food is clearly freshly cooked, using fresh herbs and spices. These are very different dishes from the traditional “Chinese” . The chef is from Laos and she has a wonderful selection of dishes from around South east Asia. Will quite definitely go back.
