We have eaten Fish and Chips here before and it was beautiful. Today we had Deep Fried Clams and we were terribly disappointed. They were very large, the sac had black stuff inside, clams were tough not tender and the taste was flavorless. It was a takeout order, had we been dining in we would have sent them back.

There was a wait to get seated, but that is because it is popular and serves great food.
We were seated at around 7:30 pm and served at 8:25 pm. It was busy and the wait is understandable.
The server did bring our drinks, but did not return or update us until she served the meal. A quick stop to update would be considered better service.
The chowder was delicious and a filling size.
There were a large amount of scallops and fish, but very little lobster. I'm not sure if it was because it was later in their day and supplies were limited. I had seen photos in the reviews and was disappointed as a result.
The flavour and thickness was perfect and the best chowder I have had in years.

My husband and I just enjoy a fish and chip dinner. We had 2 pieces of haddock. One in a crispy, light breading and one in an ENGLISH batter. Both were equal in texture and delicious taste. What an amazing fish feed!! :). We would like to thank Shelly for her kindness, her smile and her ability to help us chose the perfect lunch for us. 😀. If you have never had the opportunity to dine at Skipper Jack's we both recommend this restaurant 100%. It was well worth every dollar 😀

10/10 service and food. Came for the fish and fresh cut fries left with full bellies. Service and staff are all friendly and the place is busy! Expect to wait for your table and meal (that’s a good thing!)

Customer service is bad, we called to ask about reservations and was told no need but go there and there was no parking and super busy

Waited 45 minutes for a table which wasn’t a big deal, but, we waited for 1hr 10 min for our order after that, which was a bit much. Our server was fantastic, I think she had way too much going on all at once. Food was way too much deep fry for my liking. A bigger helping of coleslaw would have helped I think.

We did take out this time... Must remember we come from Ontario, a 15 hour drive, and always plan to stop at Skipper Jack
