What can I say about this amazing place! The food is EXCEPTIONAL the flavours are sooooo dynamic and rich! They take special care and it’s a family owned business. We come every chance we get! We plan our summer trips around taj majal! It is literally heavenly! Hats off to the chef🩷 my husband discovered this place and thank god he did! Our children’s childhood memory’s will be parlee beach and Taj Mahal ❤️

I had the absolute best tandoori chicken and garlic naan ever at Taj in Moncton! The flavors instantly took me back home—thank you for delivering such an authentic taste. The food was incredibly fresh, and the chicken was perfectly cooked: juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The garlic naan was soft with just the right amount of crunch—pure comfort on a plate.
This meal was more than just delicious; it was truly soulful. I’ve tried a few Indian spots in Moncton, but Taj stands out by far. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for real Indian flavours in the city.

The perfect hole in the wall local Indian spot an instantiation in Moncton and worthy of every bit of praise, extremely humble and friend owner, great service and the food, WOW just amazing.
We had a table for 3 and had two Butter Chicken, Coconut Chicken Curry the Lamb Vindaloo, Dal Sou and a Chefs Plater for 2 as apps.
Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Manage came by and talked to us while bringing our bill and was extremely nice and great to talk to. 11/10

Ordered onion bhajis and pakoras to start. Very tasty but beware, each portion enough for two so order one or the other.lol. Then ordered chicken karahi for me, subz biryani for my wife. Again excellent food and large portions, oh and the garlic roti was great too. No room for desert but two very satisfied customers. Excellent service too.

Wonderful Indian restaurant with a small offering of Hakka. We've eaten there twice and each time the food has been excellent. The service is always phenomenal. Sadly on our last visit we saw a mouse running around and when we questioned the server she said that despite exterminators coming they are struggling to get a handle on it. I think that is enough to turn us away. Sad 😢

The negative reviews of Taj are really shocking to me. I have been a long-time customer and love dining in and taking out at Taj. It is by FAR the best Indian resto in NB.

Great restaurant to try when you are in Moncton. We recently came to Moncton and tried this restaurant and believe me it was awesome. The food was great. We were not sure what to order as we have already tried all Indian dishes at different restaurants and our Server( we forgot to take her name) she recommended some dishes and it was mind blowing. Her service was amazing and she was very friendly. Their chilli chicken is must to try. Overall if we come back again in town we would definitely try it again.

Visited the restaurant today which was cold. Food was ok, service was bad. The server clearly treats people differently based on colour. I will avoid this place in future.

I ordered Chana Masala w/basmati rice and a mango lassi for lunch. It was SO delicious and flavourful. The mango lassi is exactly what I needed after the spice, it's so refreshing. There's easily enough for 2 lunches too which is fantastic. I super reccomend this.
