Happy we read the reviews, otherwise we would have walked right by. If you want fresh, homemade, old-fashioned comfort food while staying in downtown Moncton, this is the place. Nothing fancy, but sure was good. Several locals and downtown workers were greeted with “Your usual?” followed by a list of their usual choices (ie. toasted, gravy) to confirm. Price includes drink and dessert.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and enjoyed every second! Huge portions, we couldn’t even finish our meal, drinks and dessert were included in the price. Highly recommend, super delicious food!!!

Decided to eat here for the first time, and had the best Fish&Chips I've had in years today. 2 very big pieces of fish, cooked to perfection! 🤌 Delicious home cooked fries, side of gravy was excellent. Even the tartar sauce and coleslaw were top tier. Well worth the price for delicious quality food!

This is a great small restaurant. We stopped by for breakfast (bacon and homemade toast and the breakfast bagel with home style potatoes). Both meals were delicious and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back for breakfast again and to try lunch.

Stopped in today looking for a quick bite to eat. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as I walked in I was greeted by who i assume was the owner. She was very friendly and I she made a few suggestions of what to order.I ended up ordering the BLT with fries and the food came out quickly. While I was waiting she brought me a free bowl of turkey fricot because I mentioned I've never had it.The food was great and all freshly made, even the bread on the BLT. Service was very friendly. Would definitely come back!

Over the years we always walked by The Garden House. Today was a first try. We shared a Clubhouse sandwich and Brownie. All homemade, delicious, and filling. The meal comes with a drink and dessert. Can't beat that. Only difficulty encountered was choosing the dessert. They all looked delicious! Will definitely go back.
