We ordered the Chicken Spicy Ramen, and it was absolutely delicious! We also tried the Chicken Karaage—while it was just okay for me, that might be because it was my first time trying it. Overall, the experience was fantastic!

I would call it Korean ramyeon rather than Japanese ramen. The noodles are softer and less flavourful. Granted I didn’t exactly order a traditional ramen either. The menu leans more Korean overall. Loved the chashu tho. Good portions, lovely service.

I had the opportunity to live out west in Vancouver and Calgary for over 20 years, so I’ve been fortunate to experience many different restaurants. I’ve also had a chance to visit Japan on a snowboarding trip. Going out for Ramen has been my go-to.

I’ve dined at Tokai Ramen both solo and with company a number or times already, and ordered differently each time. Ramen broth can make or break a noodle house. It provides the flavour, aroma, and textures....
