We ordered take-out, the restaurant is unassuming from the outside, but bright and clean inside. The food was okay, didn’t amaze us, but was a decent take out Chinese meal. The combo plates were fairly heavy on the rice, it was good rice, but small veggie and meat portions. We’d likely order here again, but not combo plates.

Oh boy ! This place is truly a hidden gem, the prices are great with no sacrifice to quality and the people are nothing but friendly! Trans place has quickly become my favorite in moncton for Chinese food, you can not beat the food for the price

Part 2 My lovely wife Pat and I have been to this restaurant an additional 2 times since our first visit 3 weeks ago. Pat considers this her current favourite eat in chinese food restaurant, high praise from her. I also enjoy all I've eaten here. Server has always been pleasant, food hot and delicious. Well worth the visit. Part 1 We were on our way to Costco but both being hungry wanted to eat first. Noticed how packed this Trans Place was so decided to pull in. Nothing says a restaurant is good more than a packed house. Lovely wife, Pat, loves chinese food so I knew she'd have no objection. I let her off by the door while I parked along the side street. Arriving inside she let me know the wait wouldn't be long. I used their washroom in the meantime. Nice clean washroom is another sign of a good place, a place where they take care of their customers. Shown our table, we sat down and perused the menu. Such a wide choice but we both had no trouble deciding. Drinks were brought and orders taken. After a timely wait our food was brought to us. I devoured all but a little of my rice. Pat had more than enough leftovers for another meal. We both enjoyed our dinner at this fine place. Hospitality was top notch, as was the food. Pat said the egg rolls were a little overly moist while our seated neighbours exclaimed they were the best eggrolls ever. To each their own. Pat, being a chinese food lover, let me know for the price and overall food, she considers this her new go to place for one of her favourite food types. I enjoyed all I ate. I did give Pat my egg roll since I'm never a fan of those, no matter who makes them. Great experience here at Trans Spot.

well I gave this restaurant ample time to respond to me . I didn't post publicly when it happened . I was hoping to get any form of response from them but did not . so here is my experience. I ordered a dinner for 2 with 1 wonton soup the week after new years . when I got it home I had 2 soup and 2 rice . no chicken or chow mien. I called and they asked if I could return it I said yes . when I got back I was ignored for at lest 15 min and finally I got to speak to the manager. he was very apologetic and brought me out another order or so I thought . when I got home this time I had 1 soup 2 ribs chicken ,chow mien and NO RICE. I have been in this area for over 30 years and have frequented trans many times. I am very disappointed with the new owners all I was looking for was an apology . what I got was nothing . there are too many places around who actually apricate your business
