Me and my old friend went here January 29 around 7pm for dinner. I must admit, its the best beef soup I ever tasted here in moncton. The server was really nice and the ambiance is so amazing, we took our time savoring thier delicious meal while catching up. We are definitely going back to try morenof thier menu.

As always the food is excellent at Red Satay on Main in Moncton. The service is also patient and attentive. Chicken vermicelli stir fry and spring rolls. I’ve tried many things on the menu and they’ve all been great.

I can't give a 5 stars rating. Twice I've called and order in advance for the order to be ready at a specific time and the kitchen forgets to cook/prepare the order. I gave 4 stars for service because the hostess/waitresses cannot be blamed as they did their job.

My OH and I enjoyed a great dinner at Red Satay Main in September 2025. It was a quiet early Thursday evening, the woman looking after front of house service was friendly and helpful. The dishes were authentic and flavourful - we eat a lot of Vietnamese at home in Aus and were very impressed. Quantities and prices were very good. Recommended.

The tamarind chicken is the worst dish I've ordered since I moved to moncton. Its offensively bad and the ingredients are insultingly cheap. Enjoy your tiny pieces of poorly cooked chicken in brown sugar water with some onion skins!

This is my new favourite place. I live the food here, the decor is wonderful and staff is excellent.
I wish I could say the food is great but I came here and left right away. The waitress was very rude upon arriving and she seems to be very annoying of all the customers coming in and the delivery drivers coming in.

The atmosphere of this place is good, but I am afraid that's about it. Ordered a pork and shrimp pho (or whatever the name is), it only came with three pieces of extremely small slices of pork, three small shrimps and three fried wontons, definitely not worth the price. And only one server is there during Wednesday's dinner service, extremely short-staffed and things are slow.

I visited during a rather short lunch break and they were easily able to feed me and have me out the door before my lunch ended. Efficient doesn't do them justice!
I had the pho during my visit and it was really good, I would highly recommend it.
They also serve Vietnamese style iced coffee (which you can have hot if you prefer) which is also something I would highly recommend. This place is definitely a little gem in Moncton.
