This is the most honest, welcoming establishment I've ever been in. Absolutely amazing brews and super warm environment, we are spending the night in the lot across the street, right on the river. This is amazing, thank you Big Axe

Just stopped in for a beer and snack and couldn't believe the Halloween decorations! Brilliant. What a great visit (sad of course brilliant libations and snacks)

We wete traveling by motorohome on a road trip and came across this brewery after researching places to spend the night. Such a great find! FREE RV parking and camping when you eat there. Beautiful place to park on the river. I recommend you call in advance or use Harvest Host to reserve your spot. We parked along the river and went for a quick dip before dinner. Beer was awesome! Food menu was small and simple but did the trick. Would stay again!

This place is awesome and a perfect stop off the highway for some great refreshment. It's actually our second time back. Terrific beer selection in a beautiful setting. There's a nice elevated outdoor area as well as the indoor tasting room, with an overview of the brew vats. Melina was a sweetheart and super friendly and helpful. We actually ended up staying here overnight in our RV and they have a big quiet parking lot across the street.

Randomly stopped here on the way back from seeing the BIG axe, it was a quick stop and grabbed a variety of their beers to go. Friendly staff, every beer I've tried so far has been great!
There was enough space to park a camper van sized vehicle when we visited.

“Harvest Host location = 10/10 🌽✨ Food & service were so good I almost forgot my van was parked like a game of Tetris in Lot E. #CrookedParkingSkills”

I had the pleasure and privilege of being a Harvest Host guest at Big Axe Brewery. I thoroughly enjoyed tasting several of their brews, enough so that I brought a few home with me. I especially enjoyed Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout and the imperial stout. The service was great. The staff very friendly. I also enjoyed the food. If you are traveling through New Brunswick, Canada I highly recommend a visit. The view of the river and brewery are gorgeous. Cheers and peace.

11-day road trip from Toronto to Halifax. 8 lobster rolls later, the best one was at The Big Axe Brewery in Nackawic, New Brunswick.

Service was great, cool inside on a hot day. Nice outside eating area with scenic view of the river. I don’t recommend the lobster pizza, what little lobster was on it was underneath the cheese so I couldn’t taste the lobster. However, I did see a little piece of lobster leg, no sauce on the pizza had to dip it in ketchup which was a first for me. My dad had the lobster roll and he said it was good. I’d go back but I’d order the lobster roll. For the venue - I suggest putting sauce on the pizza and put the lobster on top of the cheese. If there was lobster I couldn’t taste it n saw very very little for a small pizza for $20. They brew their own beer with alcohol and non. Nice place to go eat.

Good pit stop on the way to Moncton. Cool hangout spot and good selection of beer. Wasn’t too happy waiting so long for the cheeseburger pizza however. But I can tell they were swamp.

Stayed there on a harvest host and although it wasn't our first night harvest hosting but got suprised by the number of RVs parked there! They had a server who helped us find a parking spot here and as soon as we entered it was kitchen's last order so we had the cheeseburger pizza and soft pretzels and to be honest we were LUCKY the kitchen was closed because cheeseburger pizza was the tastiest thing I have ever had in a bar and if the kitchen was still open I would have ordered two more to go! I had a flight set with three IPAs and a sour beer and non disappointed me. The view from the second level was beautiful and service was great as well. The bill came out around 70 bucks for the orders that was decent.

My girlfriend and I came out from Victoria BC, and enjoyed many breweries around New Brunswick. I had a can of the Big Axe Shakespeare stout and loved it, so we drove to the brewery to try the rest of their beers. Their beers are by far the best I’ve had in my beer tour around the province. We were lucky enough to meet the brew master, a really great guy, who explained a bit about how he makes his beers so unique and special. This is a brewery you really want to go check out, as all their beers are exceptional:).
