Diamond House Chinese Restaurant

The orange chicken was tough as if it had been frozen and defrosted. The fried rice was nothing special, barely on par with a mall court restaurant. What keeps this score from 1 star is that I got a 2-for-1 deal on Ubereats. But I still don't think it's worth the money.

This place has gone completely downhill.
They can’t even add flavour to the mushy Egg pan fried noodles. Customer service is also brutal. Would not recommend eating here again.
It used to be the best Chinese spot around. Not anymore. Pics are what I ordered and what was received.

Bat foods

Yumm- we used too Good To Go app and picked up our food around 6:30 p.m. staff were very friendly and helpful and did a wonderful job presenting our food.

We have also ordered from them several times on skip the dishes and have been very happy.

I’ve ordered here for years. It used to be a 10/10 every time, but in the last while the quality has been really inconsistent. I’ve been suspicious that they (and Lee’s) use buffet food for combo orders day of, but even as leftovers for next day orders. My last order nearly confirmed that they do, in my opinion. I ordered within an hour of them opening. I think the photo is pretty self explanatory, but the breading was that soft microwaved left over texture instead of crispy, and the centre ‘chicken’ pieces were super hard. Spending $30 with tax and tip just is not worth when the quality is so inconsistent.

Ordered takeout and the food was barely edible. Everything had the same bland taste. The egg rolls were absolutely disgusting, full of ground chicken with little to no bean sprouts or veggies. The chicken balls were mostly breading, the wonton soup was like dishwater, and the chicken chow mien was more like soup. I would not recommend this place until they learn how to take pride in their food.

Probably the worst Chinese food in Oromocto and Fredericton
Picked up my order and got home food was stone cold, chicken balls were disgusting almost like bread dough with a tiny piece of chicken no sweet and sour. Called they said they make me a fresh order I go and return the food and the food I get was just as gross and rice was still cold. I did notice a cook in the dining room filling take out containers with rice from the shut down buffet. So I just got a refund this place is not worth the money you spend so save you time and money.

Would give zero stars if I could.
Never again! What happened to this place, it used to be so good. Everything was awful ( and I have pretty low standards for Chinese food ) it all tasted and looked like it was cooked last week then frozen and then heated up in a microwave. We went for father’s days and the place was empty , literally no one came in to eat the whole time we were there. They should really consider closing that place down.

We ordered Chinese for a small party, we have ordered it numerous times and has been fantastic. This time it was so expensive, the portions were small, the egg rolls were pink in the middle, the chicken balls were mostly batter, the beef and broccoli had no taste, we did enjoy the rice and pan fried noodles. I doubt we will ever order from Diamonds House again which is unfortunate as we always enjoyed eating there.

I ordered wontons and lemon chicken. Wontons were ok but the lemon chicken was disgustingly terrible. Chicken was poor quality and the lemon sauce has no taste and was Dijon mustard colour.
Will not be returning.

On web site it shows dinner for 4 $56.99. Dinner for 4 cost me $71.99 plus tax for a grand total of $82.79. Quite a difference, website should be updated😢
