Hidden gem! There is no restaurant on premises but a fully stocked kitchenette in the room.

Atmosphere: 5

A friend called to recommend the restaurant so decided to try it for lunch. The setting is lovely. You can hear the water lapping up against the shore. Clean with good service. More healthy choices than most places in the area. The chicken salad plate was freshly prepared and tasty. We will go back. There is a ramp but a bit steep.

We stayed at the Baybreeze on our way to the Digby Ferry. The hotel has a laid back feel, as evidenced by the check in .Which consists of going into the restaurant next door, giving your name..Getting your keys...nothing to sign just a smile and a wave. The room we stayed in was clean but quirky. Think 1970s but in a good way and being literally ocean side the doors were a little warped and the bathroom floor might have been a little soft:) The views of the rugged harbor are fantastic. Would I stay there again, absolutely..it is 35 minutes from St. John along a quiet ( ish) road..Making it a nice stop along the way

I would like to thank this beautiful couple whom run this wonderful establishment. We only spent one night, as we were passing through. Wish we could have stayed longer. The restaurant was fantastic and the room was perfect. You can’t beat the hospitality this couple showed. The view was amazing. I recommend this place to all.

I came to attend a 70th birthday party. I stayed two nights at the motel and ate two breakfasts and one dinner in the restaurant. I found the room bright and airy and very clean. The beds are firm and the chairs comfortable. You cannot expect luxury - this is a basic two star, but the towels are thick and fluffy, (much better than similar places!) there is soap but no shampoo or other amenities. (Just know that) no hairdryer, no radio etc. But there is satellite TV! And works well. Dead bolt did not work --door locks - but hey its kind of the middle of the country - I was alone and did not feel unsafe. This is a super place but another group was unhappy with their room - the same as mine but I thought mine was stellar - so think it is about expectations. The view and outside space are spectacular, and the owner John is personable, flexible and and accommodating. I have absolutely NO complaints and thank them very much for a great time! Breakfasts are great - order the home fries with your breakfast - no frozen potaoes here -- - they are literally home made and really good!!! I had souvalaki and greek salad for dinner (and baklava, which was a bit sweet for me. ) and it was good.

After a hike at Chance Harbor we travelled here for a late lunch. Sat outside. Beautiful day. Just the right temperature. We ordered the clams and fries and scallops and fries. Both very tasty. Service was quick , efficient and friendly. The view was so nice .

We stayed here because the photos online made it look nice, but the actual room was bad. Both of the locks on the front door were broken, so we couldn’t even lock the door. The very old blinds broke off completely when we tried to close them (and then we were charged for the very old and fragile blinds) so we had an open window facing the attached porches while we slept for our whole stay. Everything was old and run down, and/or rusty. When we got there, there was also no shower curtain, and when we left for the day we had to leave the door unlocked (because we couldn’t lock it). While we were gone someone came in and put a shower curtain up.. that made us very uncomfortable and we checked over all of our stuff. I understand them bringing us a curtain, but we would have much preferred them leaving it at the door or not bringing it in at all once they realized that we weren’t there. The tv in the room was a very old box tv and had a loud high pitched noise whenever it was on, and the free wifi hardly ever connected, and when it did it was really bad or didn’t work. Our booking included breakfast for 2, but when we brought it up the owner seemed upset about it. The food was good and the owner seemed to like running the restaurant and working with the customers, but we didn’t get the same joyful chattiness as the other tables.

My son and I went for takeout. We both ordered a lobster roll with fries and a pop. The lobster roll was bland and the fries were frozen and baked, like the ones you buy at the grocery store. The meals came with coleslaw, which tasted like a glob of cold and old cabbage. The salt in the packet came out in clumps. This horrible “meal” cost $60.00.

I highly recommend the seafood platter. It was excellent from start to finish. Not too much batter on the fish/clams/scallops and the fries were excellent Due to Covid-19, we have not been out to eat, but as they have a patio where you can eat outside, it is much safer. We were very glad we chose this restaurant and had a nice drive there from Saint John. We will certainly go there again, sooner rather than later. Thank you to owners and staff. It was excellent.

On Route 175, we had lunch in this restaurant, everything was delicious, the owner is from Greece that explain the delicious Greek salad, my husband's favourite. Family environment, only ladies around, clean, and the ocean view is so relaxing. STOP by you will not regret.

I did a girls trip to New River Beach. I booked Bay breeze Motel for availability and view, restaurant. Check-in was quick, the room was very clean, beds motel quality restful, room fresh in appearance little dated full bath, fresh lined dried towels, small soaps electrical plug ins are just outside of bath, so bring extension cord for hair tools. Room is very basic, but small deck w umbrella table chairs and a view that's amazing. Room has two double beds, full bath, good size TV w satellite, small couch, bistro table in room. You will not find mini-fridge, microwave, alarm clock. Negative was loss of water after day at beach, when I needed to shower, and missed supper, and found nothing open at 1000pm, luckily we had cold pizza to tide us over. But things happen, water was back in morning.

Driving on route 175 to St John, We noticed the sign and the shack. We stopped to have a lunch. Wonderful decision. A small place with a family atmosphere with only ladies around, and incredible view. We chose a dish of fried clams - just wonderful. We complemented it with a superb fresh crispy salad. Later when we talked to the owner she told us she was of Greek origin. That explains the great salad.

Absolutely incredible!!!!... Ended up here because the Clipper Ship was full... So they booked us here... From now on it will be our go to place... Didn't know what to expect at first but since it is the Clipper Ship's sister hotel we should have known they provide only the best... Would have given 6 stars but they only allow 5.
