I just placed an order for the first time since Christmas Eve. That order was mediocre so we have avoided ordering for a while. Today was a complete 360! The meal was incredibly fresh and the best order I have had over the years. I had a number two and crab wontons. Hands down, these crab wontons are the best ones I have had anywhere! Very grateful for a delicious meal and restored faith!

First time dining in with a friend. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. We were greeted as soon as we entered. We both ordered a combo 10. Food was hot and delicious! The egg rolls in particular was very good. We were told everything is homemade, which I appreciate. Service was fast and the waitress was kind. All around, wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!

The big dude who owns and works in this place, at least he says he’s part owner, is probably one of the rudest people in the food industry business I’ve ever met. He’s almost intimidating. The wonton soup was horrible. He asked how things were and I told him I didn’t like the soup, he responded... “What do you want? It’s wonton soup.” The food has gone way downhill, but this guy really has to go. He is definitely not bred for the restaurant service industry. He should be working in a biker bar as a door bouncer. Reviews pretty much say the same thing. He’s not nice and just doesn’t get the fact that he is huge contributor to the poor business. Too many other places to go rather than deal with this guy. And we were a group of seniors… boy.
Edit: I did not say we were there yesterday. I am pleased to hear that you removed the rude man. Many others say the same about him. So perhaps you can turn things around as the restaurant was decent at one time. He ruined it.

Bland tasting... Too much batter on sweet/sour chicken. The worst is not getting what you order. Was supposed to be Moo goo guy pan in combo... Nope. Chewy rubbery chicken.... Huge waste of money and disappointing dinner. There are better Chinese restaurants in the Valley. Will never go order from here again.

This was our first time visiting China Wok from Fredericton. We came on the suggestion of a friend. The greeting and service was exceptionally friendly and courteous. We thought the wonton soup and house soup were both fabulous! My husband loved the spare ribs and the chicken balls were all white meat and not greasy like a lot of the places we have in Fredericton. I have a lot of GI issues and all the places in Fredericton make me ill. I had NO issues with this food and I was VERY happy about that. The chow mein in the dinner for 5 was very good. We only scored the food 4 stars because we didn't care for the flavor of the egg rolls - but that is okay. Not everyone has the same tastes and we loved everything else. We definitely will be back to try other options our next time to Saint John!

Nice looking place outside - but looks can be deceiving. Walked in and asked for a table for five (completely empty at approx. 4pm on a Friday) - we didn't stay for more than 2 minutes after sitting down before we left because the caucasian bouncer/host was so rude.
I'm not sure if it because my wife and in-laws are of color, but it wouldn't surprise me by the way he presents himself and his demeanour. I've now read many other google reviews of rude behaviour at this restaurant and certainly believe it.
We subsequently went to the Golden Fry on Marr Rd, where the owner and staff were friendly, the portions large, the prices low and the food was great.

Well, the food had no taste, bland, even the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls, the beef and broccoli wasn't cooked tasteless, with a watery liquid poured over top, the ribs had no taste, and tough, we won't be back!
